Has this changed since? I followed the exact same steps and I do not get a Equirectangular comp version. Whne I render following the same steps I just get a black screen. I want to create a 360 Equirectangular image for a 3D Environment with element and output 18000x9000 resolution image. Is this possible? What is the difference between using the Composition/VR option to using the VR Comp Editor (Previously Mettle)?
Thanks for this video. Whenever I try to make a vr video in AE it looks like a rounded fishbowl on RUclips. I tried to make a simple room with 3d solids, but there are no right angles. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.
You need to make sure it has the proper metadata in the video for the RUclips platform to know it's a 360 video. You can export the video using the adobe media encoder to export of a 360 video.
@@EugeneCapon thanks for the response. On my side it looks like a cube on the floor and roof planes, where the sides connect - and only appears to be an AO problem (Whether choosing SSAO or Rat-Traced)
Just came across your channel. Yes please. More element 3D VR videos
Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing :)
Wow super inspiring, thanks for sharing. I for one am very keen for any VR Element 3D tutorials. Subscribed
I'm glad to have you here!

Hi, I've been trying to find a solution to the AO creating seam lines when rendering from E3D - have you had any similar issues?
I haven't had this issue or at least not very often, there is a blend option to help remove the possible seams.

so, it is impossible to do without plugin?
You can in other programs like Blender or C4D. Sorry for the late reply!
