- Here's my entry for the #SoundoleChillOut2019 contest! I decided to cover "Moonless Starry Night" from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, an awesome game with one of my all-time favorite soundtracks, composed by Kumi Tanioka. (I can't wait for the remastered edition coming out soon!) This is probably the fastest song I've put together in a while - from start to finish it took me a week. It normally takes me at least 3 weeks to a month to really arrange and polish a piece of music, so it was fun to challenge myself to simplify the process and do it in a shorter amount of time.
I sang, played the harp, Irish bouzouki, piano, and soprano and tenor recorders. I really love singing and playing this song, and I hope you enjoy listening to it! :)

Wow one of my favorite video game songs. Thank you for such a beautiful rendition.
I played these games when I was a kid and am looking forward to their re-release because their music was so great.
I'm studying for a very important exam right now and the anxiety was starting to set in, but this song is so beautiful and calming. Thank you.
Aw, thank you so much for the wonderful comment! I'm glad it was able to help! Good luck on your exam. :)
This was a truly incredible rendition. I think you've improved significantly on the original by having such a polished accompaniment ensemble - the mixing sounds nigh-on perfect to me! That recorder duo made me teary, and I have no connection this this franchise! At a stretch for something critical to add, I would be tempted to envelope down the breaths that are happening in the middle of phrases (or is it possible to do without them at all?) and maybe slightly reduce the volume of the breaths between phrases, but I know for a lot of people this just adds to the folk elements of this. Regardless of how you feel about that, your vocal control was fantastic; beautifully precise and expressive, with really clear diction that didn't disrupt the flow. This is my introduction to your work, and I'm absolutely blown away by the multitude of your talents; I hope we get a chance to work together on something soon! #SoundoleChillOut2019
Sorry it took me a bit to get to this, but thank you SO much for the wonderful feedback! It really made my day! That's actually a pretty great suggestion about the breaths, I'll look into that and keep it in mind for future songs. I would love to work together on something soon! ^_^
I can't imagine a better cover of this song. So well done!
Between the lullaby nature of the arrangement and your soothing voice, I'm ready to peacefully sleep now. Great production and execution, as always!
Thanks so much Alex, I'm happy to hear it brought some relaxation! :)
Your instrument playing is great, especially for such various instruments too!! Hope your music is going well! c:
Great singing, playing, song writing and production (as usual). Thanks for sharing your music.

Such a strong serene tranquility I got when listening to this cover. Great work. Very well mixed, arranged, and played.
I'm happy to hear that, thanks so much!
WOW! I know that the style you arranged in lends itself to chiller music, but the arranging of verse and instrument breaks is something else. @
Thanks Ro!! Glad you liked it! :D

It's amazing! Congrats for all this work!
Thank you! :)
Woah this is beautiful.
涙が出てくる…いい歌声
Since they scrubbed the original version from RUclips to redirect all traffic to the inferior Remastered version, I honestly prefer this. I just want the version from my childhood dang it!
This is truly beautiful... would you mind if I used this, as long as I credited you?
I dont remember this Song .
I think its the Credits
Cool, but I wish more people would acknowledge the existence of the Crystal Bearer OST which I consider even better than FF:CC's
Thanks for the comment! Sadly, I haven't played Crystal Bearers yet, but if it's anything like FF:CC, I'm sure it's wonderful!
@@EarthKid The gameplay of Crystal Bearers is very different but enjoyable IMO, but I'd recommend at least listening to the OST. It has a wide range of genres--rock, surf & even a cool song with bagpipes
