Thanks for posting. I am looking to hire a car in Kagoshima next year and driving to the air museum. Is the drive ok? My wife is not keen on ferries so we are looking to travel via the toll expressway.

In Japan it is important to note that the car has to run to the left side.
The distance from the highway of Kagoshima to the base is Near.
