Well from what I know there is two ways, you can use clickteam fusion which is much quicker here's a guide: ruclips.net/video/oQjm9BIgBqk/видео.html
Or you can use frame by frame in another program, which you have to move every layer over and over again. This is much slower than using click team but if you make your own sprites (or are good at editing them) you can replace the void (When you move a sprite away from the body it creates a gap betweenthe two, you can replace the void with a longer neck or longer pants etc.)
