Limitation Period for taking cognizance of offences by Court

The aim of the law is to provide remedies to people and to do justice. However, the law imposes an obligation on the aggrieved parties to come to the court at the earliest to seek justice. The Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 prescribes the period of limitation and bar the filing of cases in Criminal courts after expiry of the period of limitation. This video contains the lecture on limitation period of taking cognizance of offences by criminal courts. The lecture has been presented in mixed language of Telugu and English.
