    Love this amusement park. I visit twice a month. It’s my go-to park outside of Disney. Been going for 40 years and the people are as wholesome as can be.

    I haven’t been to Knobel’s in forever! I’m from Bethlehem so we used to go when I was little. My cousins still go for 3 days and camp up there every summer. Very cool.

    Really amazing fact- this park floods nearly every year and is back up and running within a few days! Upon a predicted flood they disassemble the rides and get them out of harm's way. They are so used to the flooding they have it down to a science of coming back in 2-3 days! It just flooded again last summer! THAT is really amazing!

    Welcome to central PA. Knoebels is a part of all of us young and old. While we do feel our haunted house is amazing the rest of the park is worth visiting

    That was fun! We live about 20 minutes away. Some times we go there just to eat and find friends. I laughed when you said you wouldn’t get wet. I often give my grandchildren quarters just so they can spray the riders as they go by. Lots of fun. You should try the “antique” car ride, too.

    Cute place . If you want a good train ride then go to a theme park called Tweetsie in NC , in the mountains, in a town called Boone ( yes named after Daniel Boone ) . I think tweetsie might be the oldest theme park in USA . The tweetsie train is a real steam train and there is a show on the train ...train robbers and cowboys !!! You would love it !!! It’s the coolest little theme park I’ve ever been to....it’s a cowboy / western theme !

    • @Imaginerding
      @Imaginerding 5 лет назад

      Gena Yares Lake Compounce opened in 1846. Tweetsie opened in 1957, after Disneyland. But, Tweetsie is the older sister of Dollywood.

    What an awesome place! I can't believe it's free. I saw a reference to Centralia, PA in the mine ride. That would be a good destination for a Paging Mr. Marrow video. The city that has been on fire for 57 years. Thanks so much for the video, Nate! It was totally worth you getting soaked--didn't bother me in the least. lol

    You described that park perfectly with the word “wholesome.” Definitely a family-friendly experience. Reminded me of my childhood at the local “Camden Park” amusement park. It has the same type of wooden roller coaster. It also had a small train that ran back into a wooded area beside the park. The clacking sound of the cars running on the track in the Haunted Mansion brought back memories too. They certainly make use of black lights in their dark rides.
    Their Carousel Museum is amazing. They deserve kudos for preserving a part of the historical talent of wood carving & painting on the carousel animals. Sad that no one but your “You won’t get wet” (sneaky) sister saw your Stage Show - “Planking in the Park.” That’s kinda become your trademark move. Can you imagine Dev trying to squish his long legs into that train ride? He’d need to take up 2 seats & throw his legs over the back of the seat in from of him.
    Thank you so very much for sharing this PA gem! The “B roll” footage added to the themed ambiance of the video.
    Be well!

    Santa Cruz beach boardwalk in California does the ring game with a twist. You grab the ring and then throw it into a huge clown mouth on the other side of the carousel. It is super fun and liability never seems to be a problem. PS, short cool fact, Santa Cruz was Santa Carla in the lost boys movie, Santa Cruz also has a train ride through the trees that is breath taking!!! Great vlog as usual and can't wait to see the next one. God bless and travel safely.
