“Sacred The Thread” is a masterpiece. Overall, the album is a 180 degree shift from BAGG which was and is a sonic and cinematic masterpiece. That being said, STARCATCHER is a darn good album which will continue to grow on a lot of people, including myself, as the band’s tour continues. The Peaceful Army juggernaut continues.
This album doesn’t have the heavy hitters of TBAGG but it’s remarkably consistent. All ten songs are either good or great. Also The Archer might just be the best…
I listened to this album so much since it was released that I had to stop because I was playing it in my head in the middle of the night. My favs: Frozen Light, The Archer, Fate of the Faithful, Meeting the Master... Takes me back to the 70s, prog rock, classic rock, which is a place I love to be again and enjoy this new interpretation of that era.
I knew it would be tough to follow the epic sounds on TBAGG but I really think they did a great job. I love The Archer and Waited All Your Life the best (but I know that will change as I listen). I really wasn’t sure if I would like The Indigo Streak based off the one time they played it live, but I love the studio version because I think they nailed the group vocals…excellent choices and it sounds so good.
I love this album . It sounds different from BAGG or the others . The opening of one of the songs , kind of reminded me of the White Stripes, it may be “sacred thread”. And I love the harmonica (bluesy sound) on one of the songs and the chorus on “indigo streak”. Great album
It's a fine album. Unfortunately, it seems the sound quality varies greatly on different formats and even similar formats like vinyl have varied issues. Are you hearing any muddy sounds or unintended distortion in the midrange? Thanks.
I can definitely agree on sound quality. Though my personal focus is always the song writing. It may have been an intentional decision with the sound quality. These guys have a 1970s mentality to them. Anything is possible. Thanks for your comment 😁

Well said!!
Of the songs I hadn't heard previously, The Archer stands out. This is the kind of album that grows as you listen to it more.
I'm looking forward to how it unravels over time. Thank you for your input.
I feel the exact same, the archer is great
It's growing on me
Loved the archer and indigo streak. It was different from the battle at the garden gate, and it was amazing. Really enjoyed this one
Bad? There's not one bad thing on the album........ In fact everything is heaven sent.
EXACTLY
This is straight out psychedelic prog rock of european origin. These guys can write anything and make it sound like something out of this world.
Agreed.,.best band of the 21st century
. Hard of hear are you. Lmao
@@Sportster2012nono, I have listened to the best, and these guys are close to that

Thanks for your review
Indigo Streak live is much better, the solo is different and better written
Try to do a review and not fall back on the LZ comparisons. It’s become passé
I love every song
Falling sky is my favorite
One of mine too

Definetly more than adequate for the music of this decade,.........

I would have liked to hear the rest of the video but I went deaf at the beginning
😂
