Nicely done, Sir! That comparison against your other lights was most illuminating... I hadn't expected the greens (both the Acebeam and the Convoy) to hold up so well against the other lights, and particularly against the L7 - but in hindsight, I think that may be because the L7 does produce a fairly broad beam, whereas that TIR does a great job keeping those lumens restrained to a well defined beam even at a distance. I was also quite surprised by the color chart results... I've seen the monochromatic effects of the red & blue Osram's, but hadn't seen a green in person before the SoCal meetup - I did notice the green light appears more "normal" to the eye off in the distance. Good stuff! Looking forward to the next!
Another great video, great job explaining things I never knew! Interesting with the Green OSRAM. The best UI forced upon you, makes perfect sense. I like this UI too... I think all lights should go from high to turbo WITHOUT turning off first like ThruNite does. Often questioning if the turbo is actually on.
Hi just got the l19 green nice light. i found if you hold the button down for five seconds a red and green light will start flashing on the side of the torch and your locked out, press and hold for five seconds and your unlocked. hope this helps keep up the good work.👍
The L19 looks pretty sweet, thanks for the comparison. I think you would be surprised by the K1 CULPM1, considering it is 96% of the throw of the CULNM1, but a much more useful hotspot and much brighter spill.
I have several “M” as well, and they do have larger hotspots, and at close or medium ranges this does help. One thing I like about the “N” though, is for long range, I’m getting even higher intensity for less battery and heat.
Excellent, and in depth. Stuck between manker u22 iii and acebeam l18. You spoke highly of the ui, Throw Hound was not a fan. Will need to think about this
I mean, it does exactly what I could hope for: moonlight and turbo shortcuts from off, 4 power levels (not counting turbo) that are visually distinct. No strobes to cycle through (although you can triple click to get into them) I’m not sure that’s to not like.
Nice review. Can you reccomend a green pure flood light? Im looking for a nice light to mount on my mountain bike for nighttime rides on forest trails. Thx
How about a Hank Wang DM1.12 with green W1 *12 and then a SFT-40 in the center as a headlight. If you found the W1s too narrow (throwy) you could easily add a ring of D-C-fix to spread the beam more. The beauty of this setup is that you can program the light to have both channels on at once. So green flood, with a spotlight that is white. You can turn only one or the other on of course. Remember this light runs Anduril UI, which is very enthusiast-grade. Not simple at all!
Hello and how are you sir. I hope you and your family are well and healthy.I have a wish. If you have a chance to spare, could you do a review of the Acebeam Defender P-16 flashlight? The beam profile is also quite interesting in my opinion and the design is also quite interesting in my opinion and it is solid.
Do you still like it? i'm considering buying one. I have a K1 with W1 green and a Convoy L21B with Getian green, the Getian is much more green (a real green) not like the "radioactive green" from osram, I never use the K1 because it looks yellow to my eyes now.
Good day Cheules and everyone, thankyou very much! I have been very pleased over time with my Acebeam L30 6000k with hunting kit and coloured lenses for daily farm use and vermin control. I could accomodate a newer L35 with Type C charging which is sold on Ebay but is not sold in a kit, and only incidentally wonder if the lenses are interchangeable? It's beam comes across well in this great review. I have added an L19 to my cart though because of it's fantastic throw, but after this review I still wonder if the L35 might provide a more versatile beam and owner experience in the field when hunting vermin. As an aside, I have an Acebeam E10 in white that is easy to pocket and I do pocket it and in adition to my handy Led Lenser M7R. Does anyone wish to provide input into my decision making process?
I love my green manker mc13. Looking for a light just like it but with more throw and intensity. Is the l19 significantly more powerful than the mc13. What is the most powerful green osram light currently?
The L19 is definitely significantly brighter and throwier. For once thing it uses the larger "W2.1" and secondly it has a much larger optic. Those two factors make a difference.
Easy choice here. $25 Convoy vs $125 Acebeam. Difference is way too subtle to warranty such a massive price difference. It's like buying $200+ sunglasses. No better than the $40 pair.
Totally respect everyone’s opinion. Maybe compare an equivalently priced light for it to be a fair comparison. Convoy quality is unmatched dollar for dollar in my opinion. Appreciate your review though. I can’t get enough flashlight content! Thank you!
I own 30+ lights. I love my Convoys and other AliExpress lights. I will tell you that sometimes you get what you pay for. The Acebeam L19 2.0 Osram Green is worth ever cent. (I use it on duty and it puts car spotlights to shame and the green picks up on people in tree lines MUCH better than the white light.
Not really a commercial I would say, but a realistic Review. Acebeam, Led Lenser and Olight are my-go to brands and I use them daily on my farm. They are powerful, versatile, reliable and very long lasting, but if I could only ever have one brand Acebeam would be my choice, and reccomendation to others. I consider them a standard to which the rest of the industry strives.

Great light,gteat review.
i got one in white. im excited
The white is excellent. You won’t miss the extra candela of the green. That is, until I stand next to you and you see the difference LOL

Just trying to get up to speed on flashlight tech. what are some of your reasons for using a green light vs using white. thanks.
Higher intensity, plain and simple. Green throws farther and appears brighter than white OSRAMs.

STR8 BEAST!!!!

I whole-heartedly believe you will love the L35. FWIW the "newer L35" with USB-C I believe is just a USB-C chargeable internal battery.
4:23 so is the green phosphor converted?
The green has some white light mixed in to produce reflected colors.
Is this the L19 1.0 or 2.0?
This is v1

@@tonyv3853 acebeam has better regulation and sustained runtimes. I think acebeam is a cut above all the other chinese lights

This is a 27 minute commercial!
oh come on its quite objective. Its one of the best lights in its class. Acebeam is a great company
