So I want to clear the air a little because it appears some viewers are bothered by my reaction to Mike's Scene where he and the guys take Eleven out of the cooler and he helps her stay focused and finally says "I Love You" Look, I get it, my reaction in the moment may not have been what everyone else thought of, but I do want to say that I understand where you guys are coming from. Art like this is always going to be subjective and in that moment, that is how I was reading the situation. I hope that everyone can respect that in the moment, that is how I reacted, it doesn't make it right and it doesn't make it wrong. I welcome the comments, I really do, but I hope that we can be civil in all this and just appreciate that this show has captivated all of us, bringing us to emotions that we haven't seen before in the series. What did they do with Max , the girl just suffers, lost her brother, her WHOLE family is broken, her stepfather left her mother full of debts, her mother only drinks and works herself to death, her real father abandoned her, she faces anxiety, depression, guilt, pain all alone keeping it for her, she was blind, all bent, broken, in a coma, no memories, because I just want her to be happy a little she doesn't deserve this, I'm destroyed!
For real 😂 that part was annoying asf because clearly El could not do anything and was starting to seize. Mike literally boosted El and allowed El to somewhat save Max.
and they were all scared on the awesome hype scene lol. my favorite reactions take notice of the awesome Kate Bush Mashup and get PUMPED like I did lmao
To everyone blaming Jason for all this, it wasn’t his fault. Even if he wasn’t there, Vecna would’ve still gotten Max, cuz even if Lucas was able to play the song, Vecna was prob more prepared this time, so Max wouldn’t have been able to run. Jason just made it worse is all. Wether he was there or not wouldn’t have stopped Vecna.
@Fan Pops He had to push her to fight. Otherwise, she would have died, she was already suffocating and unable to breathe. Moreover, she was weak, numb, in shock because she saw Vecna kill her best friend in front of her eyes. If it weren't for Mike's monologue, we would have lost both El and Max. Thanks to the power of El, Max survived at least with a beating heart. So I kind of don't understand why you wanted him to stop. But even if you take it from another side, he had to start talking to her, because she couldn't wake up or tell them what was going on. They knew something was very wrong. Watch again.. 🤔
And it's perfectly normal that he tried to wake her up. So even if he wasn't motivating her to fight, his reaction was the right one. He tried to save her. He knows her best. It is also not good for her to be in the void for a long time.
Even if Lucas was able to play the music, Vecna was prob prepared because of last time, so Max wouldn’t have been able to run, whether Jason was there or not she would’ve been killed anyway
She wasn't, but there wasn't any time left either. If she stayed and prepared, Max would've been killed immidiatly and everything would've happened either way. Brenner was right, but El was right too - she couldn't have stayed.
If you think about it though, it did seem in a way that he was trying to save her and get her out of there. The way we interpreted it was that Will was able to get Mike to realize that he couldn't let Eleven stop and he had to keep her going.
@@FanPops mike was trying to help her fight against vecna and if you have seen previous seasons you will realised el always need an extra push sad or bad memory from the past to fight the evil this was the first time she defeated vecna through happy moment and confession she always wanted to hear since last season every reaction channel understand this but everyone has different perspective and I respect that

So for us, we looked at it differently, it seemed like Mike was trying to save her and get her out of there. When Will stepped in and talked to Mike, we saw that as Will telling Mike that he had to help Eleven stay in there and fight.

@@FanPops Yes, they wanted her to wake up. They didn't know what was going on. She coughed, couldn't breathe, didn't react. So even from your point of view it doesn't make much sense. If he hadn't started talking to her, she probably would have died. She is his girlfriend, so of course he did everything to wake her up or force her to fight😀
I had the same reaction to Mike's monologue. I wish El drew the strength from wanting to protect Max since she threatened Vecna if he touched her he's dead just earlier. I understand she needed to hear it from Mike too, but at least shorten the speech because it looked like Vecna was just standing there doing nothing. The scene could've been executed better imo.
You do realize this is a work of fiction and that it wouldn't have had as strong of effect as a simple "I love you" because it wouldn't have done anything for Max's chances.
