You have legitimately tough me GD&T to a level greater than what my senior engineer understands. Thank you.

    Hi Dean!!
Could you please make a video with the difference of "GD&T" and "RPS" Locating strategy (mostly used in Europe)? Thanks

Great explanation with simplistic approach. Just explaining the advantage of the use of datums versus ordinate is great but I think most individuals will struggle with the concept measuring from the feature versus the tangential locked DRF. It would be great if you did an episode to expand this with the use of CMMs which can allow the violation of the locked in DRF focusing on points, lines and circles ugh.😂

@rich mon Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I have several CMM videos, but I don’t specifically address your question. I’m curious about the term “tangentially locked” DRF. What kind of CMM do you use? Are you using ASME or ISO?

Hi, I have several videos where I demonstrate the inspection process for position tolerances. Check out my “GD&T Explained” playlist.
