Farm life!! Seems so cool, calm, and pleasant 🥰🥰🥰 I wish I could ditch the city and live in the out backs 😫
make things happen, don't wish and wait.
Respect... Beauty of scenes come with hard hard work everyday.
Hearing the birds in the back ground brings back so much memories of summertime between noon and 3pm
You need to fill the tube with the valve at the top for obvious reasons. The stuff isnt totally foolproof but it does the job for a little while until you can fix the puncture properly. Saying that though, I put some in my mountain bike about 2 years ago and it still holds air.
I have a hedge Thorne problem. Bought 2 Slime tubes. They have the Slime in them. Useless in a tube. Wont seal a small thorne. Work decent in a tubeless tire. Dont stay liquid as long as I would like. The plastic tool will strip too often. Good to have a metal tool to remove the core handy. I have a lawn tractor.
Firethorn punctured both front ride on tyres. Holes to small to be detected with water/soap spray. Slime installed. Tyres inflated. Mower run round lawn for half an hour. Tyres holding pressure weeks later.
Ideal situation is to remove tire. Fill with Slime. Install valve. Tilt tire 45 degrees. Roll a couple of times. Tilt the other way. Roll a couple of times. This way, you get the Slime a little way up the sides, inside.
It probably makes about no difference unless you roll the pool of sealant over a puncture after it happens.
How about a couple days later?
yep ive used it forever on many tires, works great
If a harvester or farmer use it and says it works odds are it works. .We never used anything that didn't do what it claimed. Farmings a short season no time for flats.
Move the tire until the valve is on the top side of the tire, the way you did it makes a mess and is just a waste
He did in the bigger video it’s on the top but in the close up it’s on the bottom
Thank You for sharing your experience.
Cheers
they have slime tire shields( they have up to 28" size you will need a lot of them though) as well but that requires the tire to be removed and installed to t
Ok so this was a week ago, Have your tiers gone flat yet???
Yes it works just fixed my tire simple, and quick
I've done eight tests
It didn't work on any of the tests
In tubed bike tyres
THT SLIM WORKS FOR THE ONE FLAT AN YOU HAVE ADD AGAIN AND AGAIN, PLUS IT MAKE ONE HELL OF A MESS. try tire jack, the OLF did a test with a brand new tire and loaded it with tire jack, and shoot it full of holes and drove on it, took it a part to find it wasclean in side, then he shot it again and it sealed, ran it for a few days shot it again and it sealed with out adding any extra tire jacked, I have not found it in Canada yet, but they say is in the USA, IT JUST KEEPS SEALING UP OVER AND OVER
I’m going to try and look that stuff up, Slime definitely makes a mess that’s why I have always tried to avoid it.
here is the video i was talking about, he really put that stuff to the test, sold me on it if i could find it here in Ont. Canada, but not yet ruclips.net/video/X9-Sq0_Iokw/видео.html
GEE WISH YOU COULD PAST LINK IN FIREFOX TOOK ME 5 TRYS TYPING IT OUT before it would work
Yes, this is correct.
Don't know why it didn't work for me. I used tireject in my scooter wheel before and it works well. A year later I tried slime and it just keeps oozing out the holes but refused to stop them from leaking, even the smallest ones.
Great video
Personally or what is work I have used slime many many tires on scooter tires always work for me
I have the same green tube slime sealant. It looks like the green Energon from the KSI prototypes. From AOE.
Your supposed to have tye valve stem towards the top of the tire allowing in to seek down with the valve stem down all your slime is pooling at the bottom. I realize your going tobdrive the tractor immediately after refilling the tube with air but your off to a bad start
thanks for the video, just subscribed
Slime is hillbilly run flat tires, but I luv it!!
Great job ! Now wash your tractor please it’s had that black tree sap since you got it !!!!
Battle scars... tree sap, scratches, they make it look mean. I actually am thinking about pulling the motor and overhauling it this winter, when I do that I may paint it and clean her up.
Who washes a tractor? Every good farmer knows all that dirt oil and grime is whats holding it together, the minute you wash them they melt apart come on now...
What happens when the tube has a large tear or hole? You will need to use a large amount of slime.
It doesn't work it's fake anyway
I DONT BELIEVE A WORD OFF THAT.
Saw the slime blocked valve in the thumbnail, didn't watch the rest...
Green slime is great
You’re using tubeless solution on a tubular tire. I use tubular solution and it works just fine
Lovely tractor!! :-)
Had a flat on a wheelhorse garden tractor could not find the leak. I put 8 oz of the slime in pumped up the tire and drove it around the yard to work the slime in.
Will not know for 24 hours if it worked.
Why did you post video what is the time
@@jimwortham8634 LOL they still sell the product. Tires still go flat and the product still works. Why does it matter on the why? its pretty self evident. I've used it 3 times on 20 year old Toro riding mowers big back tires that leaks. Its been over a year tires are still full of air.
is the spray organic?
I doubt it
Yes it is organic. Go ahead and drink about 9oz
I've used slime and I have used Tireject. Tireject is far superior to slime. Slime makes a mess and hard to clean up if you ever have to replace a tire. Tireject washes off with soap and water very easily and does not leave a residue. I use it on all my tractors four wheeler utility trailer, lawn mower carts etc. I put it in my four wheeler tires two years ago because of slow leaks around the bead, haven't put air in them since. Its a little more expensive but well worth it.
How can it be superior if it doesn't work for tubes at all.
@John Lightfoot Tubes are much harder to seal in general because they have lesser ability to retain the structure. Slime has one, but its physical properties and longevity leave a lot to be desired. Tube tech is from the past century and used only to cut the price of the end product.
Best part about this green slime is... it dont fucking work
this is how to apply - not how it works
This seemed like a bigger issue than the one I had
I can't even get the slime to go into my tire whatsoever. This had been a TOTALLY dysfunctional purchase for me.
Of course, you cant if you don't remove the stem valve and fully deflate the tire, Its stupid proof, i"m guessing you're on a whole nother level of stupid or your Shrader valve is clogged or on the bottom when filling, still that goes back to being stupid on another level. Or you never tried it and you're just here for attention cause it's seriously fool-proof! 😂
It dont work
Care to explain???
Yeah you just end up with a load of green shit everywhere even if you get a tiny thorn in your tire
I asked the question, because I've used it in the past with excellent results. I don't have Slime in my current tyres, I'm trying a different product to see how well this one works.
U aren’t even applying it properly guy
Y make an instructional video when u don’t even know wtf u doing ??
This was painful to watch, just follow directions and use some common sense, it seemed you were so unfamiliar with the product, tools and tractor. Jus sayin
The downfall of using it is when you go to replace the tube you'll have to replace the whole tire.
Not true when it comes to the bike formula. Last week I got a nail puncture in the tube of one of my 26x4" bike tires that was too large for Slime to fill. When I went to replace the tube, what little Slime was left had pooled to the bottom of the wheel and I simply poured it out. No residual Slime left inside.
Neh you don't have to replace the tire unless it's been punctured by a huge tree branch or pipe or something larger than yer thumb. You can just wash out the tire if the mess is a problem
Bullshit , just clean it out and re-tube it
