    An explanation of the relative odour impact of perfumery materials. A systematic method to compare the odour impact and thus a useful tool as a guide to using individual materials in a perfume composition. (note this is diffrent from odour strength).

    Quick question: Will the impact of for instance cis-3-hexenol change from 700 to 70 when diluted to 10% ?

      I am a novice, but according to my understanding a smell will hit your nose faster when dilluted in alcohol, because it difuses easier in the air

      Yes that is correct. Stephen mentioned this in the video, people on average rate 10% dilution of cis-3-hexenol around 60 to 80
