Man, I love the way how you can make absolute top fun of the game and than you just switch to pro mod and casually explain important things inside game
Map is quite easy and as broken as airfield. Way to play it properly is being passive and punishing enemy for any aggression. You can lose it by enemy pushing south with 10 tanks, but this scenario is extremely unlikely. Factory - you can defend it by one hulldown heavy and one TD camping far back on railroad tracks. No way to push. You can camp behind it with fire lane into the village (while you are bored, you can destroy some buildings with HEs). Hill is nearly impossible to push because camping TD as well. Firing on tanks behind factory or rails is possible, but limited. Central trench is point of no return and if you commit there, you can get rushed by anyone. Some option to spot tanks behind factory or TDs on hill in later game _if_ you win the village or there are no tanks. And village is impossible to push, because on LT camping behind village in red line bushes means that you can't push further from here. So in my opinion there's nothing you can do except reacting and preventing enemies from any push. Basically attrition war. You are not playing it to win, but to prevent enemy from doing so. Ops, I wrote it before watching whole video. But it mostly agrees except good point why winning village is important to control center.
This is one of the most helpful videos I have seen and that's odd because I normally watch your videos for the lols. Some of the things I see often in games that are losses is a lemming train that stalls because none of them want to eat a shot or too many of them try to take the same spot and none of them get to make a good shot and people sitting in spots (let's call it up the back) where they have no shots on the enemy but meanwhile they guys at the front are getting slaughtered because they have no support.

15:35 what makes me tear my eyeballs out is the WZ and Skorpion camping at the base. That position only offers shots to light tanks yoloing the field in the first 30 seconds of the game. That's it. You can't shoot the city, absolutely can't shoot the factory. Once your team pushed the city, you need to follow them. Even if you have to defend, you can only shoot them once they came out of the city. Just pls don't go there
I'm actually a LT/MT/Autoloader specialist (because I'm not good at brawling), but I recommend for most people to listen to this video. Most maps has one flank where you 'win the game' and one or two flanks where you assist the main flank by giving flanking shots or at least prevent people from taking flanking shots to your team. I'd argue that assist role in this game is harder because it's mostly all about macro and vision game, and you often operate in a small group. Only go to assist flanks if you are in support tanks or you are bottom tier, but if you have turret and some armor PLEASE go to the main flank. There's no use in winning support flank if the main flank dies in 2 minutes, and I'd rather have assist flanks to just be played by a few person who know what they are doing (while main flank is often just about number games)

Whatever reason, the game attracts complete morons, garbage people, and troglodytes so stupid they don't even know how to be selfish properly. Factory on Studs Beach on Overlord Pushing early on Airfield Valley on Lakeville Rolling up the Idiot Funnel (8 line) on Abbey It goes on and on. I have no faith that even a significant minority of the playerbase will figure out even the most basic map strategies. Nor does WG has any interest in changing things. All I can do is dream of a day a new half-decently made, slow/tactical FPS like WoT come out, for all us old fucks with worn out reflexes to switch to (don't say WoWs, lol).
people get angry at me for playing my Type 5 Heavy as a superheavy scout, but that wins us the game every time lmao! especially on open maps, i just drive out into the fields at an angle and spot everything within 400 meters easily. my Type 5 Heavy has better viewrange than any of my light's lmfao!
@@oscargraeme9451 it works, no joke. i have played the Type 5 Heavy effectively since it came to the game. if you know how to angle and to anticipate the shot you can EASILY ounce even the strongest of HEAT rounds that the Jegeru fires. not my fault taht you guys are braindead and cannot play it effectively lol.

so true man, i for one can do better but when it comes to teams like this it really pisses me off, like half the team like you mentioned will go one easy side to push and sit, where as the other side gets no help and when its too late they decide to help and the games unwinable
nice video bro, really helpfull, can i ask u a favor? enlight me please about how you re using free camera on replay like that because i m trying and it doesn t work for me!
very good info. On westfield the heavy side is way more useful, but from the south it seems like you need to push the southeast corner hard or just not really bother with it. If you do not win the corner, the middle will just pick you off. If you win the corner, it is pretty easy to push because of the terrain.
This is all great advice and does show how you can read the map to understand how the game will play out. You can drive your tank but not your teams, and that how your team drives is what matters
This is awesome, it’s kinda like chess when you think about it lol. Thanks daddy chems. I really didn’t know what to do about the studzianki left flank once you won it and usually would rush the tds and die but now I know what to do

Factory on Studs
Beach on Overlord
Pushing early on Airfield
Valley on Lakeville
Rolling up the Idiot Funnel (8 line) on Abbey
It goes on and on.
Based player
Thats such cap, ur an idiot if u play type 5 ppl just load gold at tier 10 and then ur dead within seconds bc u have no armour
@@oscargraeme9451 yeah true he is just capping lmao
@@oscargraeme9451 it works, no joke. i have played the Type 5 Heavy effectively since it came to the game. if you know how to angle and to anticipate the shot you can EASILY ounce even the strongest of HEAT rounds that the Jegeru fires. not my fault taht you guys are braindead and cannot play it effectively lol.
@@jisoo-can no, i'm not. been playing it effectively for years now, since it came to the game in fact. even after it got nerfed and shit i can still pull of an easy win by simply anticipating the shot and moving at the right time to bounce the shot. not my fault you guys are too braindead to play it effectively lmao.
Do this kind of videos more.
Really helpful. 10/10
Thanks alot! This is so usefull. I always find it hard to deside where to go.
I think the game should have AI artillery barrage that rolls in from the spawn edges gradually forcing players to actually move towards the middle of the map 🤔
bro this aint the fortnite storm
maybe in some other game mode sure but meh
360p enjoyers gang
that first two games, i find that happening so much with that map. it seems to be the map that somtimes most shows who has most skills and balls
Please make more of these video, they are so helpful
please do more of these they're very helpful as a new player to know positioning and playstyles on certain maps
this video really helped me out, even though i have been playing the game for years i still dont understand some maps and my win rate has been so low because of that it's embarrasing. thanks
I could watch this for every map. Very damn informative.
Can we get more of this please, this video puts my long time intuition into comprhensible words that is easy to undrerstand
Loved your video, i learned more and want to continue to improve
I really like what you're doing here as a semi-newbie which doesn't have the best idea how to play maps in my tanks or just generally I'm kinda confused where to go please keep these up I really like them it's really usefull for me
Oh wow I was in one of these battles. I definitely see now why we lost and your team won. This is really good info
Hey Chems. Thank you for this very detailed explanation. I try to do it as you said :)
I never tought i would say this under your video, but this video was actually useful.
This is great, I just got back into WoT after a 3 year break, was looking for a video just like this
YES! I had to learn most all of this the hard way (few thousand battles) and so these are things that I just do but to have it all laid out like this is great.
Thanks...its amazing how a little game like this can be so evolved and what you were saying is clear as day to me "now" lol...
Really great treatment of some WOT maps. You ought to make this a series and cover ALL of the maps. Keep up the good work.
We need more videos like this, thanks a lot.
Great and funny video, pls more of that for other maps too :)
Brilliant map explanations, great video, thank you.
can you please make this a series ??
I loved this video!! I hope that you can make another one with some different maps. Thanks for uploading this, though. It was really educational and helpful. Macro movements of the team are important for winning games. :)
Hey man just passed by and saw your video, your advice really revolutionized my game play thanks. I always had some idea of the mistakes I’d make in game but it was never as clear as you made it for the audience. Now I’m getting drastically different games than I have been👍🏾
I wasn't expecting an educational video but here we are
really enjoyed this one. in a game all about positioning this was really insightful
This is a great, very clear video and Im sure it will make a lot of people understand what they are doing wrong.
Thanks For the Video. It helped me a lot and showed me why I kept getting shit on
Nice vid Chems, please do more maps.
Please, do more videos like this. This one help me a lot in the game. Now I have a better view on what to do on those maps that you explained.
so true man, i for one can do better but when it comes to teams like this it really pisses me off, like half the team like you mentioned will go one easy side to push and sit, where as the other side gets no help and when its too late they decide to help and the games unwinable
Awesome for mentioning kajzoo. His channel is slowly growing and he has some of the most insane aiming I've ever seen.
This is the best video i have ever seen, please make this about every map!
nice video bro, really helpfull, can i ask u a favor? enlight me please about how you re using free camera on replay like that because i m trying and it doesn t work for me!
Thanx for the fresh clear lecture 👍🏼🤙🏼
very good info.
You can drive your tank but not your teams, and that how your team drives is what matters
had to learn it by myself, you telling me the right spots now and me knowing them makes me feel like a good player even tho im trash lol, please more
This is awesome, it’s kinda like chess when you think about it lol. Thanks daddy chems. I really didn’t know what to do about the studzianki left flank once you won it and usually would rush the tds and die but now I know what to do
as a new player, this was very useful and helps to read maps better
I enjoied every pixel of this video, going to download it
please do this kind of video for every map, this really helped me to not just be nother bot.
