That's how I stopped playing, I'm missing shots from 200m and also getting 1000 ghost shells with sub 30 ms ping after I just came back from not playing for years, I said F it and I'm not even playing for stats, I'm just playing to shoot shit, literally.
Stats mean nothing now anyway, in the past they did, but with the teams always dying within 4 minutes means even the best players in the game still only do under 1k a game quite a bit.
This is why I like watching chems and Dez, and sometimes RussianBadger when he get sponsored. Just dudes fucking around with what they got while not being competitive all the goddamn time. I don't like hearing QB saying "Use bond turbo" for the 39th time on a tank with 45kmh top speed. Like Jesus tone down the sweatiness.

Yea, there are times where I'm the one holding the entire enemy team singlehandedly, but the losses are just more noticable than the carry moments. I don't feel "Oh yea, I'm badass I get to fight an entire flank all on my own", I feel more so like "Do I have to do everything by myself you useless sacks of shite"
If there was a matchmaking sistem all of the players are gonna be stuck in the low rating playing like shit and if you have skill you aint finding a game.
