Just as a point of transparency, the above comment/list is not written by Dan Mohler. He does not actually publish any of his own sermons and is not affiliated with any of the RUclips channels that do.
Why is it that it's always the people who don't have real jobs going around telling everyone else how they should be living? Imagine getting paid to go around telling everyone else how to live, when they're not even working beside us, having to put up with the frustrations, temptations, and negative, vile speech that the rest of us HAVE TO put up with 40+ hours a week! I've never met a bigger hypocrite than someone who gets paid to avoid the life the rest of us have to live, while going around telling the rest of us how to live! Now, I'll wait for dozens of comments that like everyone else, have no real answers.
Not to be contentious, but most of the time he flies or drives out on his own dime, often times refuses to take any payment, and actually returned to work as a warehouse worker in PA after full time ministry for a few years to be around the people that need Jesus. I've met him a whole handful of times and my inlaws know him. He's the real deal as far as talk and walk, regardless of the circumstances, and having listened to him as long as I have, he's been through the wringer. He just doesn't show it because he's not in it for himself.
@@jessebbedwell I still stand by my original statements. I can't relate to someone who doesn't have to live like the rest of us and they can't relate to me. Preachers backslide all the time and they don't even have to live in the real world with the rest of us. Imagine getting paid to read from a Book that everyone else already has.
@@GD-tn3ez Again, I'm not looking to be contentious and start a ruckus. But your comments are in a public forum and so I have chosen to engage with you on the subject matter which you have presented. If I may ask a question: do you take issue with people in the position of leadership speaking where they are invited (as Dan Mohler does not solicit churches to speak), or with instruction itself?
@@jessebbedwell I don't trust or sometimes even respect those who aren't in the trenches with the rest of us. God despises hypocrites, and so do I. I don't have a personal problem with Dan. But he's not bleeding in the trenches with the rest of us, therefore he can't tell me how he handled the anti-biblical problems at work last week. His paycheck doesn't depend on it like the rest of us. If he's not bleeding in the trenches with me then he has no right to tell me how to live while I'm bleeding in the trenches alone.
The path Dan chose is not easy. He is very relatable . I've seen him in person. Maybe try and visit when you can and see what you can experience. I agree with you this world is difficult.
