Hello Hannah, hope your are feeling better.It’s hard to do things when you are not well.😊 That soup looked yummy. When I don’t feel my best there is something about having a bowl of homemade soup that makes it better. What a gorgeous vacation the island is beautiful. It always seems like I have to play catch up anytime we are away. I love visiting but I love being home. We keep a big thirsty towel living in our dryer to help loads dry faster with less electricity.
Our oil cruets are very large so they don’t need to be refilled so often.
Maybe cook the pizza crust alone for a few minutes before adding the toppings.
I FINALLY gave baking bacon in the oven a try. No more stovetop/counter splatter! I used the Parchmont paper oven method (cooks faster), rather than the wire rack oven method. Costco sells big double packs of Parchmont paper. Doesn’t splatter much inside the oven. Bacon cooks flat, not curly.
COSTCO has great area rugs. Aside from getting a thick, quality rug - the other thing that makes a rug really supportive to stand/sit on is the pad. The best pads are 1” interlocking fitness pads. Just make sure to cut the outside perimeter of the interlocked pads so that 4-6” of the rug hangs over the edge. That way the rug won’t curl up around the edges or be a trip hazard, and the vacuum can glide onto the rug from the hardwood floor.

I love to watch Levi follow you around and check things out after you. If you ever can’t find him, look in the last closet you had open. 😊. For a crisp pizza crust, I bake my pizza on a pan and then I slide it out of the pan and directly onto the bottom rack or a pizza stone for a couple of minutes.
I've got a round pizza pan that's like a rack, so that works well.
If I have made fresh crust, I take if off the Pan and place directly on the oven rack when nearly done to make it crisp. Every oven is different, so it takes a couple tries to get it just right. A pizza stone is also a good idea.

I am curious about something in your kitchen: to the left of your refrigerator it looks like you have a row of little drawers. Are they functional or just decorative to fill a gap? If they are functional, what do you store in them…they are so small.
Thank you❤️ That is actually a narrow cabinet, the door is just made to look like it would be drawers. But the narrow cabinet is great to store all my baking sheets

Here's a tip. I make homemade pizza and to get the crust crispy .
I put the crust on the pan i to the oven for 10 mins. Then take out and put on the toppings and put back into the oven for the remaining 10 mins.

I guess i meant spread the dough in the pan. Put into a hot oven 450 for 10 mins. Take out put on toppings, back into oven for another 10 mins. I don't think i stated this before very well.

I love adding BBQ sauce with a bit of ketchup as sauce to my pizzas, as well as just Teriyaki sauce (we get ours from Costco). I would highly recommend you try that someday!😋😋😋

For crispier dough another trick is to first bake the pizza only with the sauce in the oven for about 5'-6', then take it out, add the rest of the toppings and bake again until it is ready, depending on your oven. Comes out like it is baked in the wood fire.

Hi Hannah. Maybe you could par cook the crust a little before you add toppings. You should be able to load on the toppings if you prefer. Also Maybe you can make a double batch while you're taking the time. You can store it in the freezer ready to go next time you have a taste for pizza. Thanks for the nice video. 😊
I take 1000mg vit c and zinc effervescent daily. I do t get flu and cold that often. I give my toddler who is 4 a zinc syrup daily it has Vit D. My favorite sink and accessories.

To get a crispy crust you can prebake it with a light coat of olive oil for 3-5 minutes before you put on the toppings. It makes a huge difference in getting a crispy crust!

Tip for the pizza- par-bake your crusts at 450 or 500 degrees and then add all your toppings. It will get crispy without having soggy pizza dough on the top :). We went to Oahu for a month with our kids back in 2019 and it was one of favorite trips. Seeing your pictures really took me back! Thanks for another motivating video!

Loved your video as usual. I really like your diy and decorate videos but your cleaning videos always give me the motivation I need to get my cleaning done as well!!! One quick question... for your big area rug in your master bedroom... what, if anything, do you put down to keep it from moving on your carpet? Mine is moving around like crazy, but I've found some of the tapes I've come across say not to use on carpet!? 🙄I live in Arizona too and I'm always interested to see how you've worked around the curved corners and textured walls that AZ is famous for! I've found that for homemade pizza dough, if you brush on some olive oil between your sauce and the dough it cooks up really nice and the sauce doesn't make it soggy. Also a dash of cornmeal on the bottom helps the crust not to stick and gives it a nice crunch! Loved this video!

Just a suggestion for you. Buy some “Clorox Clean Up” and spray your coffee tray and your sink and any pitchers you may have or even other dishes you may have with it. I normally have 3 or 4 spray bottles in my house but it will take all the stains away and then hand wash or run the dishes in the dishwasher and all will be good. It will also kill any bacteria from the dish drainer or coffee drain tray or the likes and then everything is clean again.

I have a question. Do you use the same micro fiber cloth to clean everything in a room or do you switch them out frequently? Also, the rubber gloves, do you clean them between each job? I just ask because I think there is cross contamination when using the same cloths, sponges, scrub brushes, gloves to clean over and over. Thanks.
Those gloves are only for cleaning toilets that’s it, and I wash them after each use :) and yes I use different microfiber cloths for different jobs
@Hannah's Happy Home what about the sponge daddy that you used with the power paste? Do you reuse that sponge again at another cleaning? I meaned you used that sponge in the dirty bathtub and then did your sinks. Isn't that cross contamination of dirt from other sources that spread to other parts?
