      Yeah if I joined a Stafford Gambit tournament and saw Eric Rosen himself as my opponent I'd just probably resign because regardless of how winning it looks he has probably studied it to that point.

      yes this is very semantic...i think most things 2d survive through time, hence most things 2d are 3d, unless you define 2d as purely abstract concept, since all things have some width

    Eric explaining that the pawn cube is a cube (and not a square) because it survived through time is top tier chess knowledge. This is the kind of info that IM's and GM's don't typically give an insight into.
