Towards the end of 2023, still one of the most captivating and beautiful themes from Steve Jablonski. Still, even now, brings tears to my eyes. Amazing music.
Both Sentinel and Optimus had a good side and a bad side in this movie. Optimus is right in the fact that he should save humanity, but he was wrong in the fact that he betrayed his own race. Sentinel is right for choosing to save his home planet, but he was wrong to join the Decipticons.
Girmanator The decepticons weren't evil nor good, they just wanted to go home and rebuild their planet but since the war with the autobots, they killed people and tried enslaving them which was probably why I now understand...Age of extinction said so itself
This song isn't necessarily for Sentinel Prime, it is more so directed at the relationship between the great Optimus Prime and Sentinel.. And the betrayal between them..Such a masterpiece..
Disagree, this theme is STRICTLY for Sentinel Prime. It starts off quiet and soft which signified the Sentinel before the Civil war, a widely respected leader of the Cybertronians and one that brought the Golden Age of Cybertron. But as the song moves on, it goes darker and louder which signifies Sentinel's fall and loss of sanity upon losing his treasured home which he had swore to protect, owing to the fact that it was his 2 students Optimus and Megatron which caused the destruction, putting the blame on himself. But, you would listen then that the song has a constant theme/rhythm which indicated Sentinel's intentions, whether in madness or as the leader, he ONLY fought for one thing, Cybertron.
This is also perfect for Optimus Primal (from "Beast Wars") because he was a true Cybertronian hero true to his legendary brother Optimus Prime's word, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." Just like this is also perfect for Rodimus Prime (from Transformers: the Movie 1986) because he saved Cybertron from certain destruction by Unicron. Now that was heartbreaking as well. And if that's too Prime, then Prime me up. Till ALL are one!
THIS is ALSO perfect for Rapunzel (from the movie "Tangled"), SINCE she was also a technologies inventor (since she can paint as well as put things together) like HER first Prime, the great Sentinel Prime himself. AND I think Sentinel Prime would have been proud of his student Rapunzel that she came this far as a Prime right now, as well as an Ultra Prime like she was in the season finale of "Tangled: The Series" just like her BFF Queen Elsa (from the movie "Frozen") is right now. So what if Sentinel Prime was a hero fallen from grace. It doesn't change the fact that Rapunzel uses HER technologies inventions for the common good of our society. AND if THAT'S too Prime, then Prime me up.
This is ALSO perfect for Roxy (from the Winx Club) since she was ALSO a powerful Prime, and she STILL is, and has been since last July 27, 2017 during what I call the Great Niagara Falls Screwjob when Roxy "pulled an Optimus Prime" and told my supervisor Crystal Denham not to worship Elyon Brown (who happens to be Queen Elsa Brown and Princess Anna Brown's older sister, and yes, BOTH Elsa AND Anna are Roxy's best friends) like a goddess, even though Elyon was the leader of the Guardians of the Veil. That was when Crystal walked up and slapped Roxy's face so hard she bled on the left side. It was only one wound, Ladies and Gentlemen. Because of her Power, Wisdom and Courage after the incident, Roxy was granted the Power of the Primes just like her BFF Queen Elsa Brown herself (Arendelle Prime, that is). Roxy Roller (the name I gave her like the song) has a Prime code name of her own, Roximus Prime, just like the Prime SHE started out with just like Queen Elsa did, Rodimus Prime. AND if THAT'S too Prime, then Prime me up. Till ALL are one!
By the way, THIS should also be perfect for Crown Princess Elena Flores of Avalor, since SHE'S a Prime as well. Since she JUST became a powerful Prime herself, just like Optimus Prime's younger brother and Maximal leader Optimus Primal, since in his own words he's been around the block with the Matrix of Leadership himself, so I guess he ALSO qualifies as a Prime as well. Like him, Crown Princess Elena ALSO knows how it is when you're brave, fearless and selfless in battle just like BOTH Optimus Prime AND Optimus Primal. Till ALL are one.
AND this should ALSO be played for Princess Amelia Jones, who I heard is NOT ONLY Princess Rapunzel Jones' younger sister, but ALSO a student of the great Sentinel Prime as well as a technologies inventor just like HER sister Rapunzel Jones as well as the great Sentinel Prime himself. I think Sentinel Prime should be proud of both Jones sisters for coming a long way in ALL of this. And if that's too Prime, then by all means Prime me up! Till ALL are one!
AOE was great, TLK was kidn of cringy but I loved the effects and stuff, story line and the toielt humor overuse could use some work though, especially with a child starring as one of the main characters (Isabela). I mean she's slightly older than me so who am i to call her a child. but my point still stands. and I grew up with the Bayformers, Turned 16 coming up on 2 months tomorrow. born in mid 2003 and stil lgrew up with them. I love G1 though even though I never existed back then in the 1980's or so.
This song never ceases to make me emotional. Honestly this movie, though it has many flaws, will always be one of my favorites. I just have so many fond memories linked with it. The score will forever have a special place in my heart
+Fussy The Lesser Sentinel killed Mudflap and Skids when he took the pillars. You see them earlier when the Autobots return to base and discuss the engine. They're at the back of the line.

I still remember the feeling of adrenaline coursing through me in the theatre first time watching this, the Apollo 11 broadcast playing over while the camera slowly went through the ark getting closer towards Sentinels face, music hitting it's climax, and then his eye lighting up before going to the title scene. *Cinema*
“Optimus... all I ever wanted was the survival of our race.” A plea from one who sees the needs of his people greater than the needs of a few. RIP Sentinel Prime and Leonard Nimoy
Transformers was such a great trilogy. Like genuinely.. I cannot believe my young self was so immersed in the fighting that I couldn’t notice the amazing story. But I’m glad that when I was young, I got to experience the feeling of the movies in the theater.. will never forget my father, my brother, and I, going to the movies every time a new movie came out because we loved transformers just that much
As much as I love these soundtracks I hate coming back to listen to them ... it’s so nostalgic but also sucks at the same time thinking of how amazing time was back when this came out comparing to now in 2021 man I wish I was 11 years old again 😭
"...It inspires us to re-double our efforts to bring peace and tranquility to Earth." and at that moment when the camera zooms in on Sentinel's eye and it activates.
I like how Sentinel's theme gives that really cool and magnificent vibe, which would prob describe his inventions. Same for Optimus, his theme is a gentle and kind tune that matches his attitude to all living beings ( unless they piss him off)
Beautifully moving piece indeed. Gives the feeling like walking into a throne room before some great royalty. Or even into Heaven, walking into the very presence of God.
i must admit, they did a great job with sentinel, i cant remember the old show to know if they were true to the caracter or not, but they made me trust him, they made me like him, when he betrayed the autobots, his speachs made me see that from his point of view, he really believed he was right. this theme fits so perfectly
As someone who grew up with Transformers, this is a really great song. Whenever I feel alone, I listen to this and reflect on my life and remind myself that I’m not alone.
This is beautiful and lovely, very emotional. The end really touches my soul. Makes me pity Sentinal Prime, I mourn his death when I hear this. Even though his intentions were good, the way he carried them were wrong. But when I look at humanity, our slave sentence was deserving.
Sentinel Prime was a misunderstood hero in this film. He knew that the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons would never end, and that he had to take the reigns once more. He knew humans were nothing but arrogant and complacent, believing themselves the "superior rulers of Earth", above other life forms, even the Transformers. He knew that Megatron had to be usurped and that Optimus, though idealistic, was miguided in his love for humans and not for Cybertron. Sentinel believed in the Golden Age - he knew that there had to be unity between all Transformers, rather than war, and the best way, the only way, to do that would be to rebuild Cybertron and end the conflict between the two factions. He knew also that humans were for the most part arrogant and that they had to be taught their place - the best way to do this was to enslave them to rebuild Cybertron, to show them that they were not the masters they dreamt of being. Optimus, however, during this film became an ignorant warlord, obsessed with destroying the Decepticons and all those he deemed to be traitors, because he was too narrow minded. He couldn't see the truth of Sentinel's words because he was so filled with hatred, but this was because of the Decepticons and their treachery. Optimus fell from his former nobility, from his love of all Cybertronians, as he had been in the first film when he expressed regret at having to slay Megatron, (and love as he called him brother) - he became the thing he once despised. Megatron, funnily enough, became something of a hero in this film, and you had a role-reversal - Optimus became the ruthless warlord hellbent on victory at any cost, whereas Megatron - to some extent - became the optimistic, selfless saviour of the Cybertronians alongside Sentinel, although he gave into his inner pride at the end of the film because of - guess what - a human reminding him of his obsession. In the end, however, Optimus' ignorance and blindness and Megatron's pride and obsession with power proved to be the end of Sentinel and the end of his dream of a united, restored Cybertron - meaning that the Transformers themselves had fallen so far from their peaceful past that they could never be united again, and humans, instead of being taught a harsh and much-needed lesson, continued in their arrogance, and we will see this arrogance continue in the next film where they betray the Autobots.
You are right and wrong. Cybertron had its chance and lost it. Rebuilding it would do nothing other than provide another battleground for the civil war. Nothing will change. Yes, the humans were ignorant, and yes they should've been taught a lesson, but in the end, Optimus is the true hero. He made the right choice because building Cybertron would be a waste of resources on another war.
I think Optimus did what he did because he was sick of the war and fighting and the only way to ensure that fighting never happened again, he killed all the decepticons
All those saying Sentinel was actually the good guy are PARTIALLY right. What Sentinel did was good, but he did it in a way that wasn't like an Autobot or a Prime. He betrayed his kind even though he was "saving his race", he murdered humans, and broke his own code: That freedom is everyone's right. Optimus was not a villain, he had to do what needed to be done. He was going to collide Cybertron with Earth, replacing it, and making humans go extinct(I don't really care about humans anymore after AOE, though). Megatron would never keep his truce. He would try to reclaim Cybertron, and plunge it into another civil war. He would kill Prime the first chance he got. Besides, truces aren't in his nature, never will be. Optimus did what he had to do. Sentinel was a traitor, and betrayed everyone. He had to be put down for everyone's sake.
Optimus was the traitor, he deserted his home world in it's greatest time in need. See Dylan, the man who sided with the Decepticon, is basically Optimus's human counterpart in siding with the 'other'. And there was more to that freedom is everybodys right. What good is freedom when your race is dying all around. See his other quote, "Freedom without survival is a tragedy, survival without freedom is a curse". And besides, humans are arrogant who saw THEMSELVES as above the Transformers, see the government official in DOTM, when she claimed that 'a bit of paperwork kind of separates us from the 'animals' and DON'T forget: as Sentinel said, "On cybertron we were gods! Here, they call us machines!" What are the machines' duties in human society = labour and slave work. And it's not like Optimus didn't follow his own code. First movie = We don't attack humans. 3rd movie = Attack the Middle East. So who was the traitor again? Optimus is a hero for humanity but a villain to his race. Sentinel is a villain to humanity but a hero to his race.
Why would he do that? He knew that his race was lost without it's homeplanet and the Allspark. Optimus no longer cared about his race because he HAD a home and for all he is concerned, his race mattered less than humanity.
"For one priceless moment, in all of history of man, all the people of this earth are truly one. One in their pride of what you have done. It inspired us to redouble our efforts to bring peace and tranquility to earth"
Maybe in flashbacks, they'll show young Sentinel before he was a Prime get beat up by Lockdown and his thugs. I bet Lockdown in this continuity is pretty old. He's just a really efficient model.
u serious? I don't think Lockdown can last against BOTH a Cosmic rust blaster + a fusion cannon and Sentinel has a better close range equipment. SO no, Sentinel takes it, and also because Sentinel is the BEST warrior of Cybertron as well as the bringerof the Golden Age while participating in at least 3 wars (The Cybertronian Tribal wars, the alien invasion of Cybertron and the Cybertronian Civil war). So experience wise, Sentinel has more.
KiraXBara456 And besides Sentinel is more armored up, while Lockdown has less armor to give him more speed. Sentinel is an expert at using his shield unlike Optimus.
Dark of the Moon was released in 2011. It's been nine years since this soundtrack came out, and five years since Leonard Nimoy's death. To think... it feels like yesterday I was waiting for DotM to come out. It's a new decade now. I'll never forget the 2010's. May all those who passed rest in peace, rest assured that we will never forget them. Till all are One.
I remember the summer of 2011 like it was yesterday 😭 the late humid nights playing outside with friends, having a good time & playing with our transformer toys.

A fitting end to the true Transformers movie Trilogy and the Voice actor for Sentinel Prime and the original Galvatron debuted in the 1986 movie up to the series end in 1990 (I believe was the year they ended the G1 series)
This sounds like something you would hear in your head when you deeply regret something, feeling sorry and weak. I mean seriously, just listening to this makes me depressed. makes me want to think about sad things lol. but Transformers DotM was great.
This score is literally perfect for sentinel prime. You get that sense of hope, a last hope in a fight that seems never ending, just like what sentinel prime was supposed to be. A last hope for the autobots, a senior commander, a mentor to optimus prime, his pillars were supposed to transport autobot refugees to earth but instead he already made a deal with megatron and had his pillars transport decepticons. This score just screams sentinel prime, this score just screams hope.
If only Sentinel didn't fall for Megatron's deception and lies...maybe the war would have ended in victory. The pain and emotion in this is too much to hold in 💔
I appreciated that Sentinel wanted to help rebuild Cybertron, but he was dead wrong to to side with the Decepticons and enslave another race just for their own gain, and Cybertron had it's chance during the great war,and earth had a better chance to strive and make itself better for the future as humanity is still young and had a lot to learn. So that's why Optimus chose humanity over Cybertron due to how they had a better chance to make the best for themselves and for eachother.
here here optimas chose to stick by the rules of primus and not harm another planet with intelligent life forms, sumat sentinal chose to forget wich made him not even worthy of being called a prime,ALL HAIL OPTIMUS THE GREAT lol and roll on tf4 with the dinobots hope they make them exactly like the 80s cartoons ossumly powerfull but thick as 2 short planks haha
Ryan RedGuardian i just hope they stay true to the 80s stuff where optimus will die they introduce hotrod and ultra magnus becomes leader of the auto bots
this makes me think about the opening shot with the ark escaping and what the war would have been like it really opens up my mind and to think what decisions where made in the war on cybertron. it kinda make me imagine what happend before the scenes in the film and optimus become a prime

Yeah, so for that he killed Ironhide..
“Always the bravest of us”
“But you could never make the hard decisions!”
“Our planet will survive!”
*5 seconds later*
“NOO OPTIMUS”
This comment is just everything🥂
Agreed. Nostalgia can hurt.
I’m right there with you man, I can’t help but feel like this is the music of our time in 2020 - 2021 and the hardships we’re about to endure
Agreed brother. It’s the same with for me with the Star Wars soundtracks. I wish was a little kid watching all these movies for the first time
"...It inspires us to re-double our efforts to bring peace and tranquility to Earth." and at that moment when the camera zooms in on Sentinel's eye and it activates.
Let me guess something:

This is literally one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever created. Just absolutely amazing. Would love to hear it live!
Transformers 3 is definitely the last film
Story-wise, yes, but the other two are nice to watch because they look fantastic.
Rip both Sentinel & Leonard. They were both badasses.
I like how Sentinel's theme gives that really cool and magnificent vibe, which would prob describe his inventions. Same for Optimus, his theme is a gentle and kind tune that matches his attitude to all living beings ( unless they piss him off)
this soundtrack sends shivers down my spine every freaking single time i listen to it!
R I P leonard nimoy :(
Sophie Geetman this ain't Star Trek but ok
Nimoy voiced Sentinel Prime, he also voiced Galvatron in the original animated Transformers movie back in the 80's as well.
He should of said a Galvatron quote
R I P Leonard Nimoy, Francesco Quinn who voiced "Dino" and George Coe who voiced "WheeJack" :(
Las Vegas Raiders lmaooo what a stupid comment
Easily the best score in the franchise since the 2007 movie. Steve Jablonsky brought so much passion and emotion in to this track.
Steve Jablonsky absolutely CARRIED this movie
Dude carried all 5 movies, no matter how bad they were
This soundtrack is beautiful....
Sentinel Prime, you killed my friend. Ironhide, you will always be in my memory.
Shut the f*ck up Autobot we decepticons will come back again...
Beautifully moving piece indeed. Gives the feeling like walking into a throne room before some great royalty. Or even into Heaven, walking into the very presence of God.
Michael Cartwright the music has a noble taste but mixed with an idea crime, like honor or betrayal
Like into the very mansion that awaits all that believe in Jesus
This Music is just to damn epic !!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes, and nice! :)
Truly...
i must admit, they did a great job with sentinel, i cant remember the old show to know if they were true to the caracter or not, but they made me trust him, they made me like him,
when he betrayed the autobots, his speachs made me see that from his point of view, he really believed he was right.
this theme fits so perfectly
As someone who grew up with Transformers, this is a really great song. Whenever I feel alone, I listen to this and reflect on my life and remind myself that I’m not alone.
damn this is 10 years old... so many memories
This is beautiful and lovely, very emotional. The end really touches my soul. Makes me pity Sentinal Prime, I mourn his death when I hear this. Even though his intentions were good, the way he carried them were wrong. But when I look at humanity, our slave sentence was deserving.
By Primus himself, I've never seen you get all philosophical. Praise the allspark.
x3
excited crayon XD I get that way sometimes.
You're right. We deserve the sentence. We are just a bunch of greedy people who think we're the center of the universe... we aren't
Humanity can be very bad, but it can also be very good. Slavery is cruel and no organism deserves it.
7 years on, still a valid statement.
*****
I agree, Optimus seemed like the enemy, and turned down a truce that could havr ended the war altogether.
I think Optimus did what he did because he was sick of the war and fighting and the only way to ensure that fighting never happened again, he killed all the decepticons
Whiteboy7thstrulz Exactly!
KiraXBara456 if he was a hero to his race then why didn't the other autobots side with him?
Because the ONLY ones on Earth were Optimus's team, we don't know the other opinions of the other Autobots, who is spread amongst the stars.
true, but i still think sentinel could have approached this better. could have moved to a different planet or something.
Why would he do that? He knew that his race was lost without it's homeplanet and the Allspark. Optimus no longer cared about his race because he HAD a home and for all he is concerned, his race mattered less than humanity.
Listening to this feels so nostalgic now
R.I.P Leonard Nimoy 😭
that one guy on the internet 😢
"For one priceless moment, in all of history of man, all the people of this earth are truly one. One in their pride of what you have done. It inspired us to redouble our efforts to bring peace and tranquility to earth"
Sentinel Prime , he had good intensions. but he didnt take the right path.
i love this theme~
+Amzn 120%
He Betrayed himself
by Megatron
I yearn for another real Transformers movie 😭
I want to see a showdown between Sentinel Prime and Lockdown.
Maybe in flashbacks, they'll show young Sentinel before he was a Prime get beat up by Lockdown and his thugs. I bet Lockdown in this continuity is pretty old. He's just a really efficient model.
King Kid
You can't have Sentinel before a Prime, because you are BORN a Prime in Bayformers.
KiraXBara456 Oh yeah.
Maturing is realizing both optimus and sentinel is a hero in their own story and perspective
This score with the opening of the movie where Apollo comes back to earth was so great!
This theme is bueatiful this song remenber my childhood :")
yea
best TF of the trilogy, yes I said trilogy
For me, it is also the best of the trilogy but I like AoE even more.
I agree although TF1 isn't too far behind
The Middle-Brick ah but no longer my friend, AOE Sucked big time but TLK will change your views I promise you
The Middle-Brick Nah, TF1 was better.
ThaNoScoper 458 well in some kind it did exactly that 😂
2023 for the best villain of bayverse, who more?
Dark of the Moon was released in 2011. It's been nine years since this soundtrack came out, and five years since Leonard Nimoy's death. To think... it feels like yesterday I was waiting for DotM to come out. It's a new decade now. I'll never forget the 2010's. May all those who passed rest in peace, rest assured that we will never forget them. Till all are One.
They cooked on every transformers soundtrack
I remember the summer of 2011 like it was yesterday 😭 the late humid nights playing outside with friends, having a good time & playing with our transformer toys.
This theme song and "Arrival to Earth" are the most epic theme of all time
Nothing will ever be the same!
Transformers, revenge of the fallen and dark of the moon
The best transformers of all time!
Age of extinction was good
The last knight was disappointing
Bayverse is still king!

@@UnskilledScoutTF2 BB I hated completely
ROTB was 6/10 at best

sentinel, for your good times you will always be remembered

This song could played at a funeral because of its somberness
'Because of what you have done the heavens have become a part of man's world. For one priceless moment, in the whole history of man, all the people of this Earth are truly one. One in their pride at what you have done. It inspires us to redouble our efforts to bring peace and tranquillity to Earth.'
2019 and this still is one of the best songs of the entire transformers franchise!
YOU DIDN'T BETRAYED ME,YOU BETRAYED YOURSELF..
"NO OPTIMUSSSS!"
12 years from now yet still one of the most masterpiece song in the universe
I came here on accident. I'm looking for the theme that plays in Sentinel Prime in the game Doom Eternal
He is a tragic villain: a hero faced with desperation, lost and changed by war.
A fitting end to the true Transformers movie Trilogy and the Voice actor for Sentinel Prime and the original Galvatron debuted in the 1986 movie up to the series end in 1990 (I believe was the year they ended the G1 series)
Every fan feels a personal connection with first 3 movies , idk why! I love these 3 movies , I can watch them all my life !
Many years have passed. I hear it again and again and again...!
My heart will break.
The Transformers scores are some of the best most beautiful movie scores I've ever heard 🙌
This sounds like something you would hear in your head when you deeply regret something, feeling sorry and weak. I mean seriously, just listening to this makes me depressed. makes me want to think about sad things lol. but Transformers DotM was great.
the best in the trilogy!
This movie deserves better
If only Sentinel didn't fall for Megatron's deception and lies...maybe the war would have ended in victory. The pain and emotion in this is too much to hold in 💔
Battle of Berlin world war 2 video brought me here. It really match the video
The Battle of Berlin brought me here too. Salute 🫡
Blaze ammo Well put my friend, and some fans are truly screwed up for following Sentinel along with the Decepticons.
Ryan RedGuardian
i just hope they stay true to the 80s stuff where optimus will die they introduce hotrod and ultra magnus becomes leader of the auto bots
Let's not go that far just yet, because a lot of fans will still wish for Optimus to remain alive.
Blaze ammo
also if i remember correctly hotrod becomes leader for a while and named rodimus prime i am not sure tho so dont quote me on that
Who is there after transformers one
This music reminds me of those old days
this makes me think about the opening shot with the ark escaping and what the war would have been like it really opens up my mind and to think what decisions where made in the war on cybertron. it kinda make me imagine what happend before the scenes in the film and optimus become a prime
i probably sound stupid xD
Bro i was thinking the same thing. Musics like these makes you have deep thoughts about a certain topic
Ryan Duke well then, be prepared for Transformers the last Knight as Optimus' past will be a nasty shock...
