I remember the guys came through Wilmington in ‘65, but I couldn’t go because it was a school night 😢😢😢 I have caught them the past 3 years in Florida 😊😊😊
They got rid of John Cowsill, drummer, and occasionally John Stamos is on stage. The original band is now down to Mike Love and Bruce Johnson. The side guys help a lot with singing lead as Mike Love is now in his 80's so wisely shares lead duties.
As close to The Beach Boys as your gonna get, I'm afraid. I had a chance to see them when Dennis, Carl, and Brian were still touring. But I didn't. 😢 A huge regret.
@@andyballentine9171 They dont cover BB's entire catalog .....the band on tour mostly sticks to '61 to '66 juke box hits. They do a more recent song "Kokomo" which was written by John Phillips (Mama's & Papa's) with the leader of the licensee band changing some lyrics.

Absolutely fantastic… Such a great band of talented musicians! Love the two young girls upfront fawning over Mike Love during Kokomo 😊❤️🇺🇸
Sure miss those Brian Wilson tours with Wondermints... This band is just so so..
The senior center just let out their two banditos.
The two guys on either side of Mike Love are very talented and could easily take over lead after he retires
One of them is his son.
Where is al Jardine?
@@BarbaraDisenso surfing
Jardine left the group some years ago, and is touring with his own group still doing BB songs
My guitar 🎸 is called "Barbara Ann
Who are all those people on that stage? I recognize just 1.5 actual Beach Boys.... Mike Love and Peoria-native Bruce Johnston.

Nice cover band
Thank you for truth.
Almost had me believing the cover band (which is what it is) was tolerable with Totten, Cowsill & Foskett.

NOPE! no Wilson's, Jardine, Dave Marks.......this band covering BRIAN Wilsons compositions PAY licensee fees to use the name!
Well, there’s Mike Love and Bruce Johnston…..and Mike has legal rights to the name.
Nope. It's become a Beach Boys tribute band.
