As a lifetime watcher of Jeopardy this was HILARIOUS! I remember the show when the contestants avoided the football category until the very end - Alex played it so well!
That was fun as hell. Thanks for putting those all together. I cleared every one of them except I said Tampa instead of New Orleans on the super bowl one…..and bro. The “offsides” one??? Cmon man
Penik's inability to comprehend the 'too many men on the field' question cracked me up, hahaha. Come to think of it, that entire category killed me. Dalton: "The question was worded poorly." All they had to do was look at Alex and name the call! Props to Dalton for getting the futbol questions right. I thought the relegation question would trip them up for sure. And "offside" doesn't end in S, dammit! 😉
Even a casual NFL fan could have gotten all of these right. As a trivia buff, I find it funny that most of these eggheads totally discount sports questions. They come up often.
@@AliceYobbyHi, I did Jeopardy! in 2017, and it’s hilarious to hear myself and my fellow J! alums referred to as of we’re space aliens! 😂😊 Some of us know something about sports, and others don’t. We all have different knowledge bases, and they’re all pretty broad, but we can’t know everything because we’re only human. 😄

With the Ditka one, I'm pretty sure I heard Jake say RIP (8:00 in).If so, just wanted to say, he's not dead, now Butkus died a few weeks ago. If no one said RIP, I am.sorry for mishearing. 8:04
Aaron Rodgers was particularly good about getting plays off before the substitute had fully replaced the field player. The signal was important too lol
On a Daily Double you may wager up to the top value from the round. $200 wasn't going to make or break Penik, but for future reference. Also, to complain about a bad hand on FOOTBALL Jeopardy gets a C'mon Man.
Small side editing/directing note, you probably shouldn’t have the easiest question of the entire game that, everyone on the Planet knows the correct answer to. I get it was an actual final question on the show. This is not the show. It’s a VERY anticlimactic ending
Okay, I’m a former Jeopardy! contestant, and I want to point out that the categories that the contestants get are completely random. That’s because US federal law requires that game shows to require an element of luck, to avoid a repeat of the 1950s quiz show scandals (where the shows were rigged and advertising sponsors could tell the producers to get rid of contestants if the sponsors didn’t like them). Also, J! contestants have wide knowledge bases, but no one’s is perfect. Oh, and when those three contestants whiffed on that football category, Scott Van Pelt mocked them on Twitter. So one esteemed J! alum, the late, great Trey Kelso (who died of cancer a few years ago), politely told Scott not to do that. Scott Van Pelt responded by blocking Trey on Twitter. I guess he can’t handle any criticism while he’s heaping it on other people?

That was painful to watch them
Trebek was a freaking treasure. RIP dude.
Jake with a zero dollar bet is utter insanity.
Like WHY??
@@JMFootball big league move, can't show up the two main football hosts. there's no saving penick's buzzer skills tho lol
Dalton wagered more money than he had on final jeopardy lol
The graphic mistakenly took money away from him earlier in the game iirc
Aren’t you allowed to do that?
@@internetexplorer9990 This was bugging me lol
@@ccselmo9363 No, you're thinking of if a dog is allowed to play basketball

I miss Alex, man. The world is dark without him.
Rip Alex trebek he disappeared when we needed him most. A master of image and withholding.

Mike Ditka isn’t dead lol
He was definitely thinking of Dick Butkus 😂😂
I think Jake is the new football guy in the office

Watching this and getting every single question right makes me wonder if that's what normal jeopardy categories are like for Jeopardy buffs
I have never seen someone so stumped by something so simple
“UCLA retired this number for Jackie Robinson.”
With all the confidence in the world…
“What is baseball”
This and the baseball one on your other channel are hilarious.
Totally thought Jake was correct with California.. knows how to party/California knows how to party!
Even a casual NFL fan could have gotten all of these right. As a trivia buff, I find it funny that most of these eggheads totally discount sports questions. They come up often.
They really do.
That Diamondbacks hat, though 👀👌🏻
These were insanely easy. Maybe I watch too much football.
The way most of these people hear these questions is the way we hear most jeopardy questions, lol. It’s mostly Greek to them
@@AliceYobbynah they would probably understand Greek lol
Pretty much any Jeopardy question is easy if you know anything about the topic.

The football dud category is a famous Jeopardy moment.

Just amazing

Their football guy isn’t very good at football trivia 😂
He just doesn’t get the the opportunity to guess based on buzzing in speed 😂
He has just slow thumbs bro. It's a condition.
Jake making fun of all the people not knowing the football questions just for him to blank the soccer questions is comedy.

Yeah, the Penick guy was wrong for sure.
This was fun.
No fair, clearly the episode of Jeopardy has Dalton’s brother on it and he had to have watched it multiple times in the past. 😜
That guy is Dalton, if he cared about literature instead of sports
Mike Ditka didn’t pass away Dick Butkus passed away
I think Justin’s buzzer was broken
Don’t wanna see me win
Dalton just randomly losing $400 in the middle
Why is Jake saying RIP to Mike Ditka?
He’s just wishing him a peaceful nights sleep☺️
Great question
got him confused with another Bear, Dick Butkus who died last month.
Penik doesn’t know anything. I like how the others actually think he does cause he’s on some podcast. 😂 his sports knowledge is as good as his umping
Wow
Aaron Rodgers like to get phantom facemasks and weird PI calls as well.

Daltons a cutie
Jake… Mike Ditka is still alive!
Can we talk about how the scores changed during final jeopardy? Haha. He had 7200 and wagered 7600. The other had 7600 wagered 0 and went to 7200.
Dalton wagering more than he had. Not listening to the questions...Still winning.
But Ditka is still alive lol
Idk who the glasses guy is but he annoys the heck outta me and I mean that in the most respectful way possible
obnoxious face to look at and can’t read, most people would agree with your comment lol
Get Ryan on the show I think he’d fit right in 😂
Where is We Got Ice ?
Out that day
Was Justin in the same room for the whole game? No bs does he need his hearing checked? I’m kinda worried
Kinda dumb?
Why didn’t Jake wager anything on final jeopardy??????
nice
Very nice
Sorry Jake, but Peyton Manning will always be more associated with the Indianapolis Colts.
