集美学村是集美各类学校及各种文化机构的总称，位于厦门集美半岛坐落于集美村。它由著名爱国华侨领袖陈嘉庚先生于1913年始倾资创办，享誉海内外。学村总建筑面积达三千余亩，拥有在校师生十万余人，形成了由学前教育至小学初中高中、从本科教育到硕士博士教育的人才培养体系。原集美学村包括：厦门水产学院、集美航海学院、集美师范专科学校、福建体育学院、集美财经专科学校（现已全部并入集美大学），集美归国侨学生补习学校（华侨大学华文学院）、中国语言文化学校、集美中学、集美小学、集美幼儿园等学校，还包括福南大会堂、图书馆、体育馆、音乐厅、龙舟池、航海俱乐部等设施。它既是钟灵毓秀之地，又是凝集众美的观光风景区，其建筑融中西风格于一炉，体现了典型闽南侨乡的建筑风格。学村中的龙舟池节假日常举行赛龙舟。鼓乐齐鸣，南音悠扬，人声鼎沸，把平日宁静的校园变成欢乐的海洋，集美学村也就成了厦门旅游的一个热点。
Jimei School Village is the general term for all kinds of schools and cultural institutions in Jimei. It is located in Jimei Village, Jimei Peninsula, Xiamen. It was founded in 1913 by Mr. Tan Kah Kee, a well-known patriotic overseas Chinese leader, and is well-known at home and abroad. The school village has a total construction area of more than 3,000 mu and has more than 100,000 teachers and students. It has formed a talent training system ranging from preschool education to elementary school, junior high school and high school, and from undergraduate education to master's and doctoral education. The original Jimei School Village includes: Xiamen Fisheries College, Jimei Navigation College, Jimei Teachers College, Fujian Institute of Physical Education, Jimei Finance College (now all merged into Jimei University), Jimei Overseas Chinese Students Remedial School (Huaqiao University Huawen College) , Chinese Language and Culture School, Jimei Middle School, Jimei Primary School, Jimei Kindergarten and other schools, as well as Funan Town Hall, library, gymnasium, concert hall, dragon boat pool, sailing club and other facilities. It is not only a place of exquisite beauty, but also a tourist scenic spot that gathers all the beauties. Its architecture integrates Chinese and Western styles, reflecting the architectural style of a typical hometown of overseas Chinese in southern Fujian. Dragon boat races are held on holidays at the Dragon Boat Pool in the school village. The sound of drums and music, the melodious Nanyin, and the hustle and bustle of people turn the usually quiet campus into a sea of joy, and Jimei School Village has become a hot spot for tourism in Xiamen.
