He's not answerable to anyone as he would be in a Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Baptist etc mainstream church. - It's a fundamental (no pun intended) weakness in many 'non denominational' churches - People need to be very wary.

As a Christian, I wouldn’t be a part of a church that doesn’t discipline pastors who sin this way. We’re all sinners. And we all deserve forgiveness. However, leaders are subject to a higher standard, so there should be higher consequences for their public actions.

Micca was married before this dude then he got then to spend less time together because the guy an pastor was close he was his right hand guy. The pastor woukd spend more time with micca. He started eyeing her when she was around 14. But micca lawyer has came out an said that she has pulled a gun an put it to her head an pulled the trigger but it jammed. Sense they was legally separated then the parents shoukd of had control over everything. I hope they got pics so that way they coukd give it to the fbi. The fbi is now doing a Darrell investigation with the cops. They said it's not for her death but still they would look into it more. She had cuts on her hands like defensive wounds. It's sad because wven if she did try to kill herself before hand the abuse her soon to be ex put her threw shoukd have been a warning. The father also asked if they looked at the tracker on her car they said no they had no clue about it but swore they looked into it very close. Then the truck was also shown somewhere else not around her but the windows are tinted so anyone could have been driving it. I don't believe he was different than anyone else with power. Most people don't know how to deal with it. I mean look how many power hungry cops are out in the streets being paid to "protect" us LOL. She... literally told the police numerous times about his abuse, and each time they made excuses to dismiss her. And even in death, the police did not move a finger to hold JP accountable for anything. The system is broken, and that's what makes the lives of many women hellish. Think of it, if someone had been groomed since being an underage and then had been suffering mental abuse and DV for years at the hand of their partner, when they finally built up the courage to ask for a divorce, wouldn't they prefer that in case they got killed in retaliation that their alleged murderer not be allowed to ask for their cremation ie. I think her entire theology and understanding of biblical teachings was wrong or warped (probably because of the "church" she was a part of) No repentance for both of them being adulterers is a huge red flag. Singing secular songs, posting bikini/topless pictures (mainly him on this, but how on earth can you not understand that of all things isn't godly?) Their arguing and taunting alone (on video) is a clear sign of the lack of the Holy Spirit in either of them, and then the worst thing to defend- The prostitutes.. even when someone is groomed and abused (and I have great compassion for anyone suffering in a terrible and dangerous relationship) the point is, as CHRISTIANS, how can you not see or know how worldly and sinful that is?! That is basic Christianity, to not have sexual relationships with anyone else!! And paying for sex is so extreme! I don't believe in divorce. When you marry you become one, and there is no such thing as my happiness but our goal to serve the Lord. This was not a blessed marriage since they both had broke one of the commandments. This marriage in Gods eyes was not legitimate. This is what happens with protestants who pick and choose their own books in the Bible to follow. And have no real rules but their own whims. I hope God forgave her for all her sins. My family and I, as well as some family friends, used to go to Solid Rock, and we weren't members, just churchgoer, and while some things JP said were pretty off, they were pretty good for the most part but we had no idea about anything JP did. So when he made the announcement, it shocked us all. Then we found out that he posted nude pictures of her on FaceBook and I saw a clip of the eulogy and that was it. I had to take 2 days off work (and wanted longer, but bills to pay) when my cat died, and its been almost 9 weeks and I'll never be totally whole again. Crazy that he could be acting like that. Literally the two days after my cat died I was just crying and sleeping. How someone just continues as normal after their SPOUSE dies is very suspicious.

She had bruising and "squeeze" marks on her hand. JP's lawyer friend has land that borders the park. You can hear another voice in the background of teh 911 call and you can hear something creaking like a boat. And, JP rushed to have her cremated. There were people paid off. He is a sick, sick individual. The entire investigation was a failure. There was no investigation really.

COERCIVE CONTROL is a bigger predictor of lethality than domestic violence in intimate partner abuse. It is well documented that risk escalates dramatically, when you try to leave. This is the most dangerous time. In the UK, approximately (could well be a lot higher) 200 women a year commit suicide, believing it is the only way to get away from their abuser. In addition, a large age gap usually indicates a disparity in the power dynamic of intimate relationships. RIP Mica, so tragic. 🙏💔
@tenaciousduk6587, your comment is spot-on. I relate to Mica so much. At one time, I believed suicide was the only way to escape my abuser; there was literally no place left for me to hide. It wasn't a matter of WANTING to die, rather it was a matter of wanting to end the emotional torture, and the only way for me to be permanently out my abuser's reach, was to end my life. It's just a fluke that I survived my near-successful attempt, due to the timing of when I was found. I've had no contact with my abuser since, but I carry around a sense of dread, because I know it's just a matter of time before my current hiding place is discovered.

Being older I now see there was no truth to the stories that were being projected on to me constantly but a confession of what that parent really was.

I was married to a cop and went through absolute hell. People in powerful positions get away with so much and the legal system fail the victims. I wish we had the law that even if the victim wont press charges, the state does because I was threatened constantly if I got him arrested, i would no longer be here or in my son's life. Well, they didnt get to take my life, not without trying their damndest, they did take my son from me while I was in the hospital due to the mental issues I had dealt with due to what I was being put through. I have been threatened if I try to fight, they WILL do anything and everything to me to make sure I never get him. What did I do to get him taken away? Absolutely nothing. I had no clue until I got out of the hospital. I was lied to on why and the court documents say a whole different story which are lies but can i afford a lawyer? No. Do i fear for my life? Yes. But I fear mostly for his life. I know what they are capable of. I'm sorry for sharing this but I relate to her and feel so horribly sorry for her and her family and I just cannot help but to share that unfortunately, this is so common. I left 6 years ago but I lost the most important thing that matters to me. If anyone is in an abusive relationship and you have a place to go, please leave and never look back. If you let someone who abuses you get away with it one time, they will always do it again and again because you showed them that you will allow it and do nothing. If you have step kids/ children with them, do not let them use them as a means for you to stay or guilt you into staying. Children should not grow up around that. I am so sorry to hear how you lived a nightmare and how a sweet child got caught up in the middle of it. I have a friend going through the exact same thing right now, but in a hybrid way -- she was groomed by a youth minister on his way out of the ministry due to sexual impropriety, which plagued their relationship/marriage. Mental health issues brought about by his psych, emotional, physical abuse, sexual and other coercive control, which she overcame by living separately from him and seeing a therapist on a regular basis, and remaining close to her core group of friends and family. Like you, she, too, has lived under threat for years that her ex will strip her child from her completely if she attempts to seek court or other types of intervention. He owns guns and lies his way out of everything with police and courts, and she is hyper vigilant for her son's and her safety. She is brave due to her Love for her young son who is caught up in all of this, and remains in this legal battle with minimal assistance from an advisory attorney (affordability). Mica's, your and my friend's tragic stories are so heartbreaking. I just pray for justice, peace and healing for all those negatively impacted. 🙏🏽

i wouldnt trust my life with all vetting. The fact he was a pastor would be a massive positive to many people. Its all too easy to assosciate figures of authority etc. with being trustworthy. Not all criminals have a record and imho as many people with records for criminal misdemeanours etc. would never do many of these horrible things. There are as many nasty suprises lurking in suits and in positions of authority. Searching someones background is one thing, but it irks me why people don't trust gut instincts. I know a 52 year old woman who was cheating on her husband with a married man . Now she is divorced and so is the married man,yet this man has been cheating on her nonstop ! It's her karma,with her old worn out self !
By the sounds of it, he groomed her from infancy, held her as his concubine and was eventually caught. When it happened, he pushed her husband and his own wife away from the church and community. At that point, she was financially and socially dependant on him for over a decade. When she realized what was going on and that it would soon be her time to be replaced, he started turning on her.
Well he groomed her as he knew her at the age of 14, planned her wedding, made sure her husband wasn’t able to see her anymore then convinced the young woman to marry him and be the step mom to 5 of his kids, even his ex wife doesn’t hate her, they were good friends. Unfortunately she was trapped by a narcissistic man who used her religious beliefs against her many times.

Their arguing and taunting alone (on video) is a clear sign of the lack of the Holy Spirit in either of them, and then the worst thing to defend- The prostitutes.. even when someone is groomed and abused (and I have great compassion for anyone suffering in a terrible and dangerous relationship) the point is, as CHRISTIANS, how can you not see or know how worldly and sinful that is?! That is basic Christianity, to not have sexual relationships with anyone else!! And paying for sex is so extreme! To receive messages of abuse and intimidation from a "pastor" is yet more proof of the dark heart he has. I'm not saying all this as any blame for Mica or in a cold way where I don't grasp dysfunction and mental abuse, I'm speaking specifically about being Christians. Only God knows if either one are actually saved (I highly doubt JP is, he's most likely a reprobate, who knows is Mica was?) but Mica was in positions as a WORSHIP LEADER and TEACHER, and she didn't even know basic scripture or have an understanding of God's mercy, OR even know right from wrong!! Even in the secular world people know clearly that screaming at each other, abusing drugs and visiting sex workers is not a healthy stable partnership. It is astounding. It's like being a baby Christian, yet how many years were they apparently saved? Again, I'm speaking purely of the Christian aspect in this, but there can't be any way people who truly seek the Lord and read His word diligently can be this misled. They were involved in incredibly serious sin, and quite a few of them regularly, not just struggling with one sin and getting help for it. And yes, this whole church is probably a cult and if so, we really are speaking about a different issue from a true, solid church and trustworthy/safe brethren, but it's practically impossible for anyone who is truly saved to be this naive and dysfunctional.

My family and I, as well as some family friends, used to go to Solid Rock, and we weren't members, just churchgoer, and while some things JP said were pretty off, they were pretty good for the most part but we had no idea about anything JP did. So when he made the announcement, it shocked us all. Then we found out that he posted nude pictures of her on FaceBook and I saw a clip of the eulogy and that was it. This is the most dangerous time. In the UK, approximately (could well be a lot higher) 200 women a year commit suicide, believing it is the only way to get away from their abuser. In addition, a large age gap usually indicates a disparity in the power dynamic of intimate relationships. RIP Mica, so tragic. 🙏💔

It wasn't a matter of WANTING to die, rather it was a matter of wanting to end the emotional torture, and the only way for me to be permanently out my abuser's reach, was to end my life. It's just a fluke that I survived my near-successful attempt, due to the timing of when I was found. I've had no contact with my abuser since, but I carry around a sense of dread, because I know it's just a matter of time before my current hiding place is discovered.

Being older I now see there was no truth to the stories that were being projected on to me constantly but a confession of what that parent really was.
I like your style. To the point, without bias and/or speculation, and no flashyness or arrogant tone in your voice or presentation. I don't know how many times now I've either fast forward parts of videos or clicked off/stopped watching all together because of the long fore-video or loss of focus on the topic. I understand that there are very well organized conspiracies and corruption in the world but I also try to stay grounded, realistic and positive. I was married to a cop and went through absolute hell. People in powerful positions get away with so much and the legal system fail the victims. I wish we had the law that even if the victim wont press charges, the state does because I was threatened constantly if I got him arrested, i would no longer be here or in my son's life. Well, they didnt get to take my life, not without trying their damndest, they did take my son from me while I was in the hospital due to the mental issues I had dealt with due to what I was being put through. I have been threatened if I try to fight, they WILL do anything and everything to me to make sure I never get him. What did I do to get him taken away? Absolutely nothing. I had no clue until I got out of the hospital. I was lied to on why and the court documents say a whole different story which are lies but can i afford a lawyer? No. Do i fear for my life? Yes. But I fear mostly for his life. I know what they are capable of. I'm sorry for sharing this but I relate to her and feel so horribly sorry for her and her family and I just cannot help but to share that unfortunately, this is so common. I left 6 years ago but I lost the most important thing that matters to me. If anyone is in an abusive relationship and you have a place to go, please leave and never look back. If you let someone who abuses you get away with it one time, they will always do it again and again because you showed them that you will allow it and do nothing. If you have step kids/ children with them, do not let them use them as a means for you to stay or guilt you into staying. Children should not grow up around that. I'm just giving advice to those who need it from a survivor. ❤

I am so sorry to hear how you lived a nightmare and how a sweet child got caught up in the middle of it.
I have a friend going through the exact same thing right now, but in a hybrid way -- she was groomed by a youth minister on his way out of the ministry due to sexual impropriety, which plagued their relationship/marriage. Mental health issues brought about by his psych, emotional, physical abuse, sexual and other coercive control, which she overcame by living separately from him and seeing a therapist on a regular basis, and remaining close to her core group of friends and family.
Like you, she, too, has lived under threat for years that her ex will strip her child from her completely if she attempts to seek court or other types of intervention. He owns guns and lies his way out of everything with police and courts, and she is hyper vigilant for her son's and her safety. She is brave due to her Love for her young son who is caught up in all of this, and remains in this legal battle with minimal assistance from an advisory attorney (affordability). Mica's, your and my friend's tragic stories are so heartbreaking. I just pray for justice, peace and healing for all those negatively impacted. 🙏🏽

i wouldnt trust my life with all vetting. The fact he was a pastor would be a massive positive to many people. Its all too easy to assosciate figures of authority etc. with being trustworthy. Not all criminals have a record and imho as many people with records for criminal misdemeanours etc. would never do many of these horrible things. There are as many nasty suprises lurking in suits and in positions of authority. Searching someones background is one thing, but it irks me why people don't trust gut instincts. If someone sounds to good to be true theres probably major things you are not being told. This guy is an absolute worm.

I agree to a point but it should not be a generalized statement. There are some LEOs which have a good reputation and others that don't. South Carolina and Colorado do not have the best. There are others like Indiana, Ohio, and New York which are some of the best.

I know a 52 year old woman who was cheating on her husband with a married man . Now she is divorced and so is the married man,yet this man has been cheating on her nonstop ! It's her karma,with her old worn out self !

By the sounds of it, he groomed her from infancy, held her as his concubine and was eventually caught. When it happened, he pushed her husband and his own wife away from the church and community. At that point, she was financially and socially dependant on him for over a decade. When she realized what was going on and that it would soon be her time to be replaced, he started turning on her.
Well he groomed her as he knew her at the age of 14, planned her wedding, made sure her husband wasn’t able to see her anymore then convinced the young woman to marry him and be the step mom to 5 of his kids, even his ex wife doesn’t hate her, they were good friends. Unfortunately she was trapped by a narcissistic man who used her religious beliefs against her many times.
