Man Sant will absolutely play Levia at ProTour. Jamie Faulkner will likely be playing Dromai because he’s really honed that deck in. Someone will assuredly bring Azalea just to say they did. There’s also a big difference in the way a lot of European players play vs Asian or American players. They tend to not be as bandwagony. Which translates to a higher likelihood of seeing Rhinar, Bravo, Dori and Katsu in greater numbers than expected. Even Boltyn has a fandom there. And Briar will be plentiful as well I suspect.
Nice list! I basically agree with your takes for the most part. BUT. Iyslander and Dash for me are like... weird. In theory, they are really good, have strong matchups, possibly even no losing matchups (post prism world for iyslander). Iyslander has play into both aggro and control decks. Same for Dash. But from my experience, these things remain theory and dont usually happen in practice. Over the course of a long event, simply playing Iyslander into a wide field will be draining enough. I also imagine an 80 card list just barely isnt enough to make her good into all the matchups she needs to be good in. I think there's potential for Iyslander to be the most powerful hero post Prism. But, I personally don't think that the results will back it up. Just my thoughts. Lastly I think Oldhim prob has more play (than Bravo) into the meta now that Fai is not the top deck. But I think it's close and usually boils down to preference/experience rather than a meta call tbh.
Hey Alan! Big fan of your content and tier list video. I agree with everything you said also. Oldhim has always been a weird one for me just because it does feel so different dependent on the pilot and build. I do think Iyslander will be very strong not just in theory but in practice as well. It will be interesting when people start teching for her. That is something I have not seen yet and may change my perspective when it happens. But currently, when played in the right hands, Iyslander is just so annoying and strong. Also, let's get some games sometime!
I think post-Prism, the aggro decks will need to be more "fair" with their slots since guardians will be out of Prism's jail and this will hopefully give Iyslander more breathing room. I think it's only the 18 Blue Count Dromai list that could keep Iys in check potentially
i hear you have an audio problem? You might accidently have 2 sources of the same audio input on at the same time, either openly or in the more deeper audio properties/settings
1000% agree Iyslander is a sleeper tier 1 deck. Levi I agree with everything you said.
It’s only gonna be a sleeper until we see someone comfortable on it tearing through Swiss at the pro tour (while avoid prism)
@@Im_a_Papaya I like it better when everyone’s not playing her
I pray Merchants shall rise to these ranks one day 😭
25 damage through a lake frigid?! He sounds like a great player…sick vid guys
Haze bending does not interact with Fog Down, it specifically says Illusionist Auras. Merciful does deal 1 arcane.
Wow, I was straight lied to. Never trust your opponent and always read the card lol! Thank you for saving me in the future.
