Nice review! I really feel like with some more innovation with the darts and blasters this new series has potential. I do have some different thoughts and opinions of Nerf changing thier standard, but they are long and complicated to the point where I need to make a whole video about it

At the very least, the community will make some fun stuff and push the innovation forward

The new dart design is what allowed the higher average fps. The design of the head and increase in width spread the force over a slightly larger area, allowing for higher velocity while still meeting the safety standards for 8+. The calibre change does indeed directly affect the chosen fps limit.

There are some great creators modding these things up and re-barreling them. That I love!

Yeah I would say besides the low standard deviation, this line seems to have better build quality than the Elite 2.0 line. Keep in mind I've only had my hands on this and the Pinpoint

Wow. That is a very detailed review. Thank you for sharing from the perspective of children. I have enough stock Elite blasters saved up for when my kids are old enough. But let's see if this N series gets better by then.

I love a reviewer who is not a hasbro lapdog. Good job!

I will give them credit this thing is consistent! But yeah, more time with this line will be needed to make a final decision.

Those who you accuse of being a "lapdog" might have a better understanding of what Hasbro want to achieve, and what they have to do in order to sell products in global markets. They might understand that the core of Nerf users are kids, who have very different expectations to adults and play differently. And of course, they know Hasbro have a "Pro" range, Gelfire and Rival for older audiences. The usual reply is that "Dartzone and Adventure Force can do it", but then, unlike Nerf, neither are readily available outside the USA. DOH! DZ are barely marketed anywhere else, a dozen or so small, independent retailers, limited stocks and no big retail chains. That means expensive international mail order. DZ and AF make up a very small proportion of foam blaster sales.

Yeah, not really sure what to think. I have the infinite and its ok. Not great. Seems heavy for an 8 year old. I think the darts are a little more accurate with a higher velocity than these blasters are shooting. I picked up paperskeletons3d's N1 inserts for the AF ranger and those darts are prett amazing in that.

I'm about to pick up a few Rangers for some Mega XL shenanigans. I saw your video, I might have to pick up an extra for the N1 darts.

they have had some real nice looking designs, and i assume they have a lot of money. its too bad they dont try to make it into the 'pro' scene. but hey, i guess this stuff makes them money

From what I've read they are going to continue the pro line but use a different dart than what was included with the stryfe x. My money is on a cut down version of the N1 dart.
      Thanks for the support
