- As meteorologists made comparisons to storms past and non-essential staff kicked backed, Winter Storm Stella did what good old fashioned Northeast storms do best: she raged on.
The snow storm -- the worst in a decade -- has hit New York, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts hardest. Up to 30 inches of snow fell in the Southern Tier and counties throughout New York issued travel bans.
In Syracuse, Centro Bus issued schedule changes, school was cancelled and businesses closed early. Dozens of accidents were reported as the snow fell at a rate of two to three inches per hour and the wind gusts picked up.
And it’s not over yet: After Stella subsides, a lake effect storm will follow.
I miss Syracuse NY !!
I think it's beautiful from so Cal.
looks pretty
Looks like everybody drives very fast in that city.
I'm over winter, bring on 90 and sunny
I'll take 30 over 90!
That is about the only time that city looks clean.
I live in El Paso Texas,it's been hot all winter, originally from Tennessee I do not miss this crap
Karl Childers You do not miss the beautiful snow and how it falls? Wow
Theodore Le Mineur OK..I do love snow .but for the last few winters it was freeze and snow and freeze..actually...no I don't miss it😊
You never miss the damage the road salt does to your car, bridges, and parking garages. Nor the high taxes you pay for the snow removal and that road salt. Check the damage the salt has done there to the elevated bridges on Rt. 81 and 690. More tax money is needed to rebuild them.
@@tommytruth7595 Those bridges are well over 50 years old. Nothing lasts forever.
I miss home, 315🫡
At last something that's not political
Yeah, but I see that didn't stop the political comments ( thanks to "SPRINKERHOFF" ) thus far.
LOL LOOK A ALL THAT HOT SNOW GLOBAL WORMING COMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU??
A ridiculous comment if there ever was one. Global warming has increased moisture content in the air which in turn produces MORE SNOW. Read about global warming before you comment.
