I just finished the book, and I definitely enjoyed it. My favorite part was time that she spent with her grandmother learning to be the honey witch. I thought it was a cozy fantasy up until the climax- it went way too dark for my taste and completely changed the tone of the book; that is the reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars. Thanks for your review!
I thought this book was ok. Overall I enjoyed the story, or what I think the story was trying to do, but I didn’t think Lottie and Marigold had much chemistry. I gave this book 2.5/5 stars. That being said, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a sapphic love story that doesn’t get raunchy/smutty.
It carries through a couple of seasons, from mid-spring through autumn if I remember correctly. It's a great read if you're wanting a getaway somewhere warm and cozy.

I loved that part too! It did get dark, but overall it was a great book. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I totally get where you're coming from with the lack of chemistry. But it was a great sapphic love story that didn't get crazy like you said.
Quick question, would you describe this books setting as spring or autumn?
