I get the majority of my ARC copies from NetGalley, but I also submit requests to authors when they’re looking for ARC readers 😊

I listened to it and the audiobook didn’t seems to match up to her audiobooks. If I had read in with my eyes, I think it would’ve been a different opinion.

Hopefully I can get my hands on it 🤞And yeah I love the series, but it was so much for a single hard cover book! I remember when her books were like $20 and it was a lot 🤣
For me it's a 4/5 too it's not ground breaking or out of the ordinary, a quick read I finished it in one day, it is enticing for sure, I just hope that it gets better the next books
I think that since the book is so easy to read it’s a strength to the series. It’s not so dense that people aren’t going to pick it up. On the other hand, I’ve heard the others are good but lots of world building takes place but I haven’t picked them up yet.

I just finished the book, and I definitely enjoyed it. My favorite part was time that she spent with her grandmother learning to be the honey witch. I thought it was a cozy fantasy up until the climax- it went way too dark for my taste and completely changed the tone of the book; that is the reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars. Thanks for your review!

What's wrong with mowing your lawn at noon on a Tuesday? It's broad daylight. 😆 I'd say your neighbor's a weirdo had he chosen the dead of night on a Friday. Extra weird if he was drag clad all the while
Nothing's wrong with it, I think I was mainly surprised since he's usually at work so I didn't think anybody would be doing yard word during the middle of a work day :)

I hated the ending what's is the point lesson learnt nothing he didn't learn his lesson and ended up ruining his own life
Completely agree. It felt over hyped and underwhelming. Hate to say that I was expecting more from this book and ultimately didn't enjoy it.
