I love how Sokka was right all along, and no one believed him... He has a good balance of kindness and emotion but thinks very rationally and isn't biased or swayed and is a great leader. He's an amazing character.

I hated jet in book 1 but when we found him again and he was brainwashed in book two I felt kinda sad after he died
I kind of liked him because he showed that there are bad guys on both sides.

It's ironic that Jet who hated the fire nation all his life and wanted to destroy them, was himself betrayed and killed by the head of state of the Earth Kingdom government
The head of security and the police actually, but effectively the head of state due to his control over the Earth King.
I love that the writers gave each of these guys an important role in the series, even if they saved Sneers for last.

This is probably a coincidence, but has anyone noticed that Jet looks like Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Jet is also the name of Spike's friend and partner, so I feel like it was intentional.

Jet was such a good character he was so realistic any kid who sees there parents burned alive in front of them would be pushed to wanting to kill every fire nation member but he was able to redeem himself by the end

based off of what we understand of jets death is that he dos die but from what we do not know. probably internal damage. that hit most likely broke his back and ruptured an organ, meaning jet died do to a mixture of shock, sever pain and internal bleeding. his death would have been long and painful.
this was a kids show, and he was a teen yet the reality of that death was dark
