I would personally recommend the case I drove the jcb for a few years and the company I work for sold them and have gone to case

Nice machine shame the back ballast is scratched already!

Only looked a little muddy to me, my JS160 -4 LC counterweight looks like it has just come back from Baghdad, combination of tight building sites and bad dumper drivers not putting the hand brake on. 290 is a nice machine but we are moving over to CASE, VOLVO and Takeuchi machines and away from JCB and Hyundai, we used to prefer the JCB machines when they were made by SUMITOMO and badged JCB, now that CASE is in partnership with SUMITOMO we have moved in that direction and will mix our 13T to 30T machines between CASE and VOLVO and 10T and under will be Takeuchi.

Why are some people obsessed with scratches on the ballast weight it happens every single digger even if the operator thinks hes/she's shit hot

It shouldn't happen aboustley no need for it to happen they should be aware of there surroundings

Ideally it shouldn't but the fact is that it will unless you leave the machine parked up for it's lifetime
It's only paint at the end of the day !!

That's what separates the drivers from the screwdrivers I suppose, be aswell taking the camera off the back of it aswell
