My cousin's sister was on the medic crew and she said they took great care of him and made sure he went home with extra replacement Band-Aids for his ear and he was very concerned where his shoes were at as he was leaving the hospital and my cousin's sister's brother said he retrieved the shoes he was one of the guys that had a sign in all the stuff that comes in when you go to the hospital and they take your rings and stuff off before they MR item but he didn't want to get MRI'd so we just gave him his shoes back again

I don’t understand this at all. I am biracial. Worst thing a white kid ever did to me in HS was tell me he wouldn’t date me because I’m half-black. His name was Billy and it crushed me for a week. But I still think about the time a black girl beat me up at the bus stop for being “uppity.” I wasn’t being uppity, I was a shy, anxiety-ridden kid who stayed with her nose in a book, not talking to anyone. Or when I got beat up in the bathrooms by a black girl because I wasn’t *allowed* to use the word “ghetto.” I’m sorry, but all my bullies, the meanest people to me in my childhood, were obese black girls, and for no darn reason. I went out of my way to avoid them. The one time I made a black friend, the other girls bullied her until she stopped hanging out with me. And it’s not a unique experience for biracial kids who were raised to “talk white.” Aka, properly.
