    Well. You asked for x in N. Most of people would then try 0 , 1 , 2 (bingo) and that's it because 9^x - x^4 > 65 if x >= 2

      Yes but when they are asked to explain how they got 2, what will they do?

      @@JJONLINEMATHSCLASSchannel Finding by try and error is as good than anything else ( specially when it's way faster) if there is no interdiction to do so. To be totally complete, one should also prove that 9^x - x^4 is increasing for x > 2 . This can be done by induction (x belong to N)
