Only criticism, there wasn’t a pedal piano in J S Bach’s time. There was one ()modified Pedal harpsichord) which was much later converted to hammer action is known and the pedal clavichord existed for organists.

The subtitles are dreadful. It's not 'box music' or 'bucks music', but Bach's music, and all these transcriptions of 'uh's are unnecessary. Schiff clearly deserves more respect for his work.

J S Bach bucks the then current Sensitivity Style of the early Rococo Pre Classical whatever one wants to call it, and always thinks outside of the box…
