thank you! my wonderful neighbour offered me up some delicious kale I couldnt pass! I'm about to make them right now! so excited I pulled them off the stems but I didnt do it right here's hoping I got them all!!
What a cool neighbor! If any stems are still on there, just don’t worry about getting them cooked through. You can discard them from the finished chips.
Thank you for the recipe. I was wondering how to make kale chips in the Airfryer. I guess it's ok that the kale will fly around in the Airfryer and not burn on the heating unit?
I haven’t had this issue when I massage it lightly with oil and salt, but it has happened to me in the past with other methods. It hasn’t caused any issues with my air fryer when it has happened in the past, and I’ve only lost a few pieces to flyaway.
Hi Becky, Thank you so much for this great video, I'm buying kale to try this recipe. I appreciate how descriptive you are with ingredients and measurements. I'm blind and it's much easier to follow along when recipes are described as well as yours. Have a great day. Dolores
@glueandglitter ALSO! I made this last night, and I totally ate all 4 cups. For spices, I used a ginger and sesame powder mix with garlic and onions. Amazing. Thanks!
It is also important to cover the kale with a plate for your air fryer so that the kale doesn’t fly up in the heating element and cause smoke all the time when using your air fryer. But this recipe is VERY delicious
I don't know about you you're probably in the US but I live in Canada and here in Vancouver the bag of kale chips is like $8.50 scuse me I'm not spending almost $10 on a hundred grams of kale
Thank you for the recipe, I was wondering what else I could do with all my kale as I have loads of it in my New Zealand garden! I only eat it in salads so will have to definitely try this one!
@@glueandglitter I made Kale chips for lunch today and they were WONDERFUL! I used a combination of garlic and lemon pepper. I have a new favorite snack 😀
I keep thinking about this question. I think it would be great with teriyaki sauce in place of the oil. It would bring some sweetness and that umami that seaweed snacks have.
@@RaptorJesus. let me know how you like it! I might have to pick up some kale to try it out, too, but we just got groceries yesterday so it will be a bit.
@@glueandglitter i made the sugary version today! sprinkled over 3 or 4 teaspoons of sugar once i'd drizzled the oil over and then tossed it all to get it nicely spread and it went so sweet and crispy, kinda reminded me of sweet popcorn XD really recommend! :D
thank you!

I had no idea what to do with the stalks (except my dog loves it if I chop some up) thank you! I like cabbage heart, so why not these?
Oh I love to hear that! Enjoy those kale stems!
Hello there! Love this! Are you using Fahrenheit or Celsius?
Fahrenheit!
Oh wow wife and I just made our own kale chips! so fun and good, thank you for the video
Awesome, and you are welcome! How did you season yours?

Hey, just wondering if you’re non binary?

I’m delighted to hear it!
i thought she said "for 46 minutes" LMAO

I’m so glad to hear that, Dolores! Enjoy the kale chips!
Can I wash the kale from my garden? Do i need to dry the kale before i airfly them?
Yes definitely wash and dry
You are amazing! I love going from interview style to showing the food. Your explanations are so helpful
Thank you so much Tracy! I’m glad the videos are helpful.
2:54 - You had me with, "Alright (ch)y'all!"

Great seasoning ideas!
Thank you!
Thank you for the thorough explanation. I will be making this tonight.
You are very welcome. Enjoy your kale chips!
@@glueandglitter they were a little salty, next time I will do better.
Great video! Is it possible to make these without the oil?
Thank you! I haven’t tested without the oil. You might be able to sub aquafaba, though. Let me know how it goes it you try!
Thank you for the great tips and suggestions,, looking forward to making these soon😊
Enjoy them, Elizabeth!

That's a great idea! Glad you enjoyed the recipe.
You put a plate into your air fryer? Just any plate?
I don't know about you you're probably in the US but I live in Canada and here in Vancouver the bag of kale chips is like $8.50 scuse me I'm not spending almost $10 on a hundred grams of kale
That is very expensive! A bunch of kale here is like $3.
@@glueandglitter oh no like raw kale $2 but you know the prepackaged pre-made kale chips that are already flavoured are so expensive
@@williammclean6594 ohh gotcha. Yeah, the bagged ones are super pricey here, too!
I had to pause the video and go make some as nighttime snack....yummy
Yum! How did you season yours?
Does the magical fairy dust get me high?
High on DELICIOUSNESS!

@@LISA61367 ooh lemon pepper and garlic sounds so good! I have a bottle of lemon pepper that I haven't cracked open yet. Clearly, it's meant to be.
I always check and shake my veggies ever 2 minutes . Kale and addictive who would ever say that . Someone like us that have eat them lol
Just curious. Why do you season at the end and not the beginning? Thanks!
The dill burns in the air fryer.
very good advices ❤thanks
You are so welcome!
What song is this? Had me and my mom dancing while watching lol. Awesome video thank you for sharing!🎉🎊
I’m blanking in its name, but I’m glad you were jamming!
Sounds good and easy. Will make some this afternoon.
Oh enjoy them!
Thank for the tips
Would have preferred more clips of you making the kale chips rather than you just talking
You’re welcome, Sheila! Thank you for the notes
Can you throw them in the air fryer without having to meticulously dry them like you have to in the oven?
Just pat them dry after washing so they are baking, not steaming. Water will give you the wrong texture
Very helpful thank you!
You are so welcome!
wonder if you could season with sugar to make them sweet like crispy seaweed :)
Ooh I bet you could!
