This is beautiful, John was a very close friend of mine, you could say my brother . We Played many gigs together, shared meals, fun & sometimes arguements together. Please believe me he would have loved this . I love you for seeing & feeling his real soul .

Austin to Boston movie brought me here. I get chills when the Stave sisters sing their harmonies. One of the best songs I've heard in a while.
It's not easy to do justice to a John Martyn song unless your name happens to be John Martyn... especially if you change it so much.
But this is truly, truly worthy. Comfortable as your favourite chair and warm as a log fire. Great stuff.

There's a superb compilation/tribute double Cd featuring,amongst others Beck/Robert Smith/Snow Patrol/Beth Orton/Paolo Nutine # lsm4012 dist, by Absolute in UK. So if you're not familiar with John Martyn songs then go out and buy it, {try a record store for a new experience!!}
