There is NO WAY a swinging target would make the hole oblong. That was just a bad call all around by the officials and I am surprised that they aren't wiser. All they have to do is look at the other courses of fire on that swinger, or any swinger.
Roger Olsson I'm super late, but I believe when its on black from a previous shooter they don't mark it out. I could be wrong, I don't know these rules. I just don't get how they can say a bullet traveling over 1000 feet a second can create an oblong shape by itself. I would be furious as well.
13:28 - 13:39 Maybe if he double tapped on one swing of the target, but the target took two full swings and a shot on each swing, so its highly doubtful.
It's highly doubtful either way, but let's say the point of impact moves at about 1.5 m/s (5 ft/s) and the bullet at about 250 m/s (~820 ft/s), that would give you a hole that's about 70 μm larger. So at least the explanation that the perceived elongation of the hole is due to the movement of the target is absolute BS.
@@85blackboxx Bullet would be moving faster than that also. He's shooting 9mm and they're light and fast, you'd be getting 1100-1200 fps depending on the load they use
@@85blackboxx It's right at the perforation too which gives it more of a chance to act weird and blow out more or unevenly. Also doing the math of (1"/250m/s)*1.5m/s taking 1 inch as the length of a 9mm bullet I get ~150 μm. The easiest test we can't really do is to see if the elongation is the right arc for the diameter of a 9mm and the RO was there with the actual guides so I'm inclined to believe he just missed.
If you change the playback speed to .25 in settings and watch it closely, looks clean, he puts his hand on the gun but it doesn't come out till he has turned around.
n@@CPHannigan it's actually a lot easier to make some calls with video. And no disrespect to ROs...these things happen very quickly and you can't make the call unless you're 100% sure.
LoL, two shots in the same hole on a swinger.... says he didn't miss, demands that he didn't miss.... Does the same thing on a swinger a couple stages later, this time with a black background.... miss hanging out in the black.
5 mikes and still world champion that should tell you how strong he really is. like nils in the standard division who fell on his ass and still became champ. but max if you wanna be the best shooter in the world go chase eric into his division and beat hi there
Filming is great, great shooting. Thx for sharin' :)
He'll I'd be happy to be one of the top 1000 pistol shooters in the world.

Am I the only one who see him fire two shots at the swinger and get two holes in the target, 3 inches apart. (Second shot is in the black at 12:52)
