Tyrann Mathieu had one of the best seasons as a defender that we have ever seen in college football back in 2011. Furthermore, his performance against #3 Arkansas should have won him the Heisman as he had 8 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and a punt return TD. The Honey Badger certainly knew how to put on a show!

Definitely a snub. The Heisman has become such a QB driven award. Tyrann Mathieu && Will Anderson are two defensive players that should have won the Heisman. They are two players that just absolutely wreck a game plan.
He was the most heisman worthy defensive player ever. He was absolutely ridiculous in college. My favorite college player ever over Ed Reed even

The Heisman is worthless. It's too much biasness in it. The badger and ed reed should of won the Heisman in a landslide. At one time freshman couldn't win it. It's overrated
