- This fixed my game on pc.
Navigate to the EasyAntiCheat folder in your Fortnite install directory.
Note: The default location is C:\Program Files\EpicGames\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64\EasyAntiCheat
Locate the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe file
Right-click the file and select Create shortcut
Right-click the shortcut and select Properties
In the Target box, after the existing text, add the words "install prod-fn" without quotes.
The end of the text should now look like: EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install prod-fn
Double-click the shortcut.
Start the Epic Games Launcher and Fortnite.

when I change the properties a pop up appears saying "The name "C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install prod-fn" Specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.
What should I do?
Dubble check the steps. Think you trying to edit the wrong one. So when you created a shortcut of that file you right click that file, properties, then by target box you add that install prod-fn and not at the lower link.

@@Novacasted you did create a shortcut and the shortcut is in the same folder. you then right clicked on the shortcut and then added the install prod-fn at target and not at start in?
Fixed it 👍problem was that my target path had a " after it and I deleted that but it needed to be there. I just put the install prod-fn after the " instead of getting rid of it completely@@AndreRmemories

I have unistalled and reinstalled everything to start back from square one, still have the anti cheat unistalled issue. Tried following within files and when i go to type "install prod-fn" portion it says it doesnt exist so it wont let me apply it. idk if anyone else has had this issue and if they can point me in the right direction that would be great.

You have to click on the icon and go show more options, and then create a shortcut. After that you have to make a space at the end so after " do a space and type install prod-fn

After I install it and when I double click the shortcut it opens up but closes really fast and crashes idk what to do anymore
@@Yamz_y thats supose to happen when you double click. Opens but closes super fast. Sometimes it will as you a yes or no question and after you click yes it closes. Close everything open game. If done correctly your game will run. If still not working delete the anti cheat folder then verify game files and run thru steps again

It just opens and immediately closes when I try to run it.
If its the anti cheat you referring to when dubble clicking the shortcut then its installed if you done all steps correctly. Close launcher. Open it and open game

it didnt work,my fortnite starts working but when it says fetching dynamic content it than stops and goes back to epic games
If its still the anti cheat giving problems try deleting the 2 anti cheat folders and then verify files etc

If you.ran thru the steps and it still does not fix it. Try deleting the anti cheat folders. Then verify all files. This will download those anti cheat files again. Then run thru steps again.

i somehow dont have epic games on program files, only on program files x86 or wutever it is
You just need to locate where you installed the game. Some pc's will differ but you need to locate the file in the original install location
