This is my own personal opinion but the only thing that I could comment on as a viewer that knows nothing about animation is 1:22. Watching the whole thing back again, it seemed like the moment where Seaking realized Metalbat somehow got stronger. However, I didn’t feel Seaking’s shocked reaction or acknowledgement to Metalbat’s sudden increase in power until the second hit at 1:25.
Maybe it’s because I didn’t know if Seaking at 1:22 was supposed to be shocked or was smiling. If it was supposed to convey his shock maybe a subtitles that said ‘What?’ or making the left eye even bigger could’ve sold the intended effect better? Idk, again I don’t know anything about animation and this is entirely my own opinion.

İncredible animation but to be honest That fight would be low diff because Deep sea king can't even properly triger Metal Bat's figting spirit and WITHOUT HIS FIGHTING SPIRIT Metal Bat was able to fought Carnage Kabuto for 3 minutes (when it's about Metal Bat, I take everyting seriously) Carnage Kabuto killed G4 Genos in 2 sec. and same G4 Genos killed Deep sea king in 2 sec. This means Metal Bat without fighting spirit can kill Deep sea king in 2 sec. With a combo attack

But I don't think there is any hope for our bit against Goketsu. The issue is that Goketsu can kill metal bat before metal bat powers up enough to close the huge gap. Goketsu can actually 1 shot him. 😅

An upgraded Genos actually one shot hydrated Deep Sea King in a simulation but was still weaker than Metal Bat who lasted much longer against Carnage Kabuto than Genos did.
Great animation, but tbh this should have been a one shot, Puri Puri prisoner at the start of MA arc one shotted a monster as strong as deep sea king and MB is way above him. As for Goketsu MB wins mid to high diff reason being him withstanding attacks from Sage which literally surpasses anything Goketsu has done period.

Metal Bat could survive many hits from Carnage Kabuto in the simulation, and do damage to him without even having fighting spirit in the simulation. Since Metal Bat does have fighting spirit and hella good durability, it’s like Zombieman fighting. It’ll take a while, but Metal Bat will soon one shot DSK, after taking hits from the monster and getting hella stronger off of spirit.

Nah, in his base form he has less destructive power than Genos who was able to surprise attack Deep Sea King in the anime. Still he wins due to his power of increasingly becoming stronger over time against Deep Sea King who tries to outlast and defeat his stronger opponents
