Military Tales I Sit down with Colonel (Rtd) John Rioba who served in KDF for 28 years

Colonel (Rtd) John Rioba served the Kenya Army wing of the Kenya Defence Forces for 28 years initially joining as a cadet before rising through the ranks to a Colonel and Commander of the 5th battalion famous as the ‘Fighting 5’ in Gilgil. Rioba also served as a Commandant in military clerical college in Kabete and was involved in a number of peace keeping missions in the region and beyond. He graces this week’s edition of MILITARY TALES with Ben Troy Njue.
