    This a stellar vid. For those of us diy folks that don't have access to a ac machine. Remove the passenger side radiator shroud with fan. Qty 4, 10mm bolts and one wire harness to unplug. Bottom 2 bolts only need be loosened. The wire harness plug also clipped to the shroud so you have to unclip that as well.

      How did you get the clip on the bottom of the fan off? Stuck on this part. SO frustrating.

    • @americanpatriot126
      @americanpatriot126 2 года назад

      @@kimberleesouthern8775 I used a pair of long pliers with 45° tips and a pair of short needle nose pliers. I covered both tips of both pliers with electrical tape to protect the electrical connectors. From underneath the car, I held onto the top connector with the long pliers and used the needle nose pliers to press down on the electrical clip and pull down on the connector to disconnect the two.

    I changed the alternator successfully. I did remove the fan. I hooked all the connections back up. Jumped it to start. But then within 2mins the temperature garage drops and the car stalls out. Thoughts?

    Not sure if that Honda has a factory radio code. So, I would recommend an OBD2 setting saver plug and battery. I would have pulled the fan(s)... But to each their own. Thank you for your usual great content.

    Did you put that belt tensioner tool directly onto the pulley. I'm trying to replace the serpentine belt, put a 19mm on a spot that is on the bracket and it rounded out and I had to replace the whole tensioner. It looked like you put it right on the bolt that goes through the pulley and mounts into the block. Even with the new tensioner, im struggling to get the serpentine belt on. I'm about to light the car on fire.

    Good video but no enough description how to remove timing belt. I am trying to do that i cant really see which bolt you hook it on to make it lose. I have an issue with it, because someone strip the bolt(lever) for it and i am looking for secondary options how to make it lose and i didn't see it on your video.

      Myroslav Kuznyuk i’m putting that tensioner tool on the Bolt going through the pulley. Standard ratchet four-inch will work just as well.

      MrRangerZr1 Yes you can remove the fans. For me since I had a machine it’s a matter of pushing a button and taking off two screws.
