Imagine if a studio turned the locations of Middle Earth into an explorable VR experience.

The red thrush off to the left is a nice addition, for those who've read The Hobbit.

    Cool...
Maybe next something along the lines of Minas Morgul?
Such secrecy, and sorcery. Chantings, ghostly whisperings, skeletal walkings, etc....

The scene preserves the movie mistake! When they are in front of the Argonath, the statues raise their left arms. When they pass them and you can see them from behind, one statue has its left arm raised arm and the other its right arm. The second shot is consistent with my understanding of the books.

Having watched these movies countless times I have to say I've never noticed that. But I've gone back and checked and having zoomed in (because it's quite hard to tell) the other statue does have its left arm raised as well. It looks like it's a trick of the eye...because what looks like the shape of the statue is actually the mountainside protruding behind it, thus creating the illusion :) You can see the rocky mountain behind it in the first shot infront of them.
