when should i increase my vdot score? because im guessing a few weeks of following the current recommended training paces would improve my fitness and therefore increase my vdot score right?
Technically yes. Like anything it depends and this is an algorithim. You or a coach need to put together a balanced program with progressive training load that is aiming to run a sensible best time in (insert event that you want to run your best time in). Does that help?
