Believe me I had intentionally stopped hearing Dear Suryagayatri's songs since about 3 or 4 days because I didn't want to get addicted (which I was) to her hypnotising singing before going to bed every day. But I confess I can't afford to do that nd go sleepless! So here I am again! Let me get addicted to such divine mesmerizing music every day which is worth it. The idol of Ganapathi was brought from Vadapi- the modern day Badami, Bijapur district, Karnataka by Narasimha Pallava after defeating Pulikesin II and after sacking the capital city of Vatapi. To commemorate the victory he assumed the title 'Vadaapi konda Narasimha Pallavan ' . The idol was brought as a souvenir and it is not known where it is installed. Technically, they may be perfect but some of them just did not resonate with this simple soul (myself) who is musically untrained. But some, including this rendition moved me and resonated deep within, setting off energy flow in my brain and spinal column. Believe me I had intentionally stopped hearing Dear Suryagayatri's songs since about 3 or 4 days because I didn't want to get addicted (which I was) to her hypnotising singing before going to bed every day. But I confess I can't afford to do that nd go sleepless! So here I am again! Let me get addicted to such divine mesmerizing music every day which is worth it. As a 76yrs young man I am pleased nd privileged to BLESS this Godly young prodigy! GOD BLESS. Absolutely no exaggeration please.

I know nothing about Carnatic music and the various Ragas. But I enjoy the music immensely. This particular song has very great historical significance. The idol of Ganapathi was brought from Vadapi- the modern day Badami, Bijapur district, Karnataka by Narasimha Pallava after defeating Pulikesin II and after sacking the capital city of Vatapi. To commemorate the victory he assumed the title 'Vadaapi konda Narasimha Pallavan ' . The idol was brought as a souvenir and it is not known where it is installed.
Coming back to the song, the young child has immense talent and for the devine rendition deserves massive congratulations. God bless you.

Sai Ram. Sri Ganeshaya Namah. Heard many versions of the song by different artistes. Technically, they may be perfect but some of them just did not resonate with this simple soul (myself) who is musically untrained. But some, including this rendition moved me and resonated deep within, setting off energy flow in my brain and spinal column.
