Nevertheless, I would strongly encourage you to either upload the entire day OR upload the matches separately but REMOVING the names of the players in the match from the title and from the video snapshot, so we do not instantly infer who won the first two matches. It is impossible to search without all the 5 videos appearing and spoiling the outcomes as a result. Please do the same as the GSL guys, who just upload something like" 2019 GSL S3, Group 3 Winners" with a yellow snapshot. That way the group results are not instantly spoiled. Thanks.
I like it when they post the whole broadcast so I an just watch all the games in order. Sometimes though it's nice to search names in a tournament to find certain matches so I can understand their posting format.
Youre entitled to your own opinion but I strongly disagree about removing names . When I look up videos I want to see exactly who is playing before I click the video . Because when I watch I'm looking to see how the match played out vs simply who won and who lost 🤷♂️
After watching a lot of starcraft games, I realize that serral and reynor hold back. They both can win games a long time ago, but play with their food. I think they try to drag it out to not show blizzard how OP zerg is. If you watch the second game carefully, reynor could have won many many minutes ago. If zerg straight up smashes their opponents, it will only be more evident how OP they are. The third game is Reynor not holding back because the second game was long and he wanted to just win. The announcers are also very careful to not say the word unbalanced. During the second match, the announcer accidentally said its "unbalanced" and started stuttering 36:50. Don't understand how one race is the quickest and also has the best late game. In SC1, toss was the slowest and had the best late game. Zerg was the quickest and had the more difficult late game and terran in the middle. In SC2, it is all zerg all the time. Zerg has the best late game, the best siege, the best rushes, the best army movement, the best splash dmg, the best mage units. Nydus at the time of this message costs 50/50 and can be built off creep literally anywhere with vision! Blizzard, fix your game!
I just noticed why does splash damage of siege tanks and widow mines will damage your own troops, zerg banelings do not splash their own same with the ultralisk attacks just curious never noticed before.
I'm not sure if this is still true, but it used to be that the Thor would only attack a Colossus with its ground attack (and never its air attack), whereas the Queen would attack a Colossus with its air attack. Why? StarCraft has quirks, I guess

Since there are banes and brood lords instead of guardians the splash on t to t at least on one of the two units really should have been removed.

It seems a player needs to do a lot in order to survive against banes rolling on to your army. One might say that the best players at the game pick the best race in the game and I would totally agree. But that would just mean that Zerg is broken with which I will also agree.
Simple solution, multiply the army supply requirement for Infestors by 2. Really boring to watch the games when pretty much everything is revolving around 1 unit
Better players beat worse players. Serral, Mari, Dark, Rogue, and Classic are clearly the best players in the league. Heromarine doesn't belong in this tournament skillwise. soO beat two foreigners. What upsets have there been? Maybe Reynor Classic...maybe.

Jesus Christ... Fungal Growth, Abduction, Blinding Cloud, Infested Terrans, Neural Parasite AND Parasitic Bomb... am I missing anything? All from two units with one race. They completely nullify the most expensive, fun and micro-able units in the game, as well as obliterate all basic army units. Spell casters are fun to use, but they make watching Zerg matches less fun to watch, in my opinion. Parasitic bomb just kills every medivac and viking in the sky, instantly. Neural parasite makes motherships, battlecruisers, thors, anything expensive kill your own guys and suicide. Vipers yoink massive metal armored units around that would realistically weigh a million times more than a flying snake with dragonfly wings. 40 stupid infestor "support" units burrowing underground and using the most powerful spells in the game. Why do Terran and Protoss have to spend a bunch of minerals and gas to fight and expand when Zerg just sucks juice out of its own buildings and sprays spells all over the map without losing any units or cash? Don't even get me started on Nydus Worms and Swarm Hosts with locusts that seem to have more DPS than a freaking swarm of Ultras. (I really hope the patch fixes that.) Special is right about everything he says about Zerg IMBA. Make queens more expensive or creep tumors harder to spread. 35 energy or longer placement time. I don't know. There's a reason the untouchable players are all Zerg. Probably a pointless place to rant, but watching HeroMarine die when he's playing his heart out just makes me sad. I haven't even been watching since halfway game 2 because I already know where this is going. Keep going Gabe, this patch is going to help a little bit.
Michael Knoebel the three factions are pretty balanced, just that terran players dont use full potential of flexibilty. Terran can build offensive bunker and tower sensor outside of their base, to contain mucus expansion and make relatively safe rally point. Second point mucus increase ground units, thats why terran air unit should be deployed in lot of situation to avoid zerg ground unit advantage on mucus. And i dont talk about 1 or 2 banshee. Terran has mostly all mobile buildings. It should be used as partial walls, to shape battlefield to terran advantage. For example, a barrack has 1000 hp, can absorb banelings, reduce zergling to surround tank behind, is not concerned about 2 zerg spellcaster you said, and if things gone wrong barrack can lift on.
Isn't it funny how Medivacs are not able to pick up sieged tanks but Vipers are somehow able to abduct them? You make a great point, Zerg is so OP it's not even fun anymore. All the top players are Zerg. You can pretty much guarantee that the finals will be ZvZ. So much for balance.
@@neothypp All good points and we will see how Maru (the only Terran left in the Finals) does... but I have a sneaking suspicion no matter how many amazing doom drops he gets in or how many drones he fries, he will still lose to a Zerg player because of infestors and vipers (if they even get there), and nydus worms (lots and lots of them). Variety is great and SC has done what no other RTS has done before, balancing 3 races with completely different functions. But when Zerg wins every tournament and looks completely broken to a casual player, no matter if it's Rogue, Serral, Reynor, etc etc etc... It's not just that Serral mastered the game, it's that his race has units that can be micro'd for endless potential while sustaining no damage. It makes for less entertaining games when Terran and Protoss just play whack-a-mole until one pops in the back of the main and Roaches start gunning down their production and Queens just heal everything. Glad they added a cooldown to Nydus at the very least. Everyone's seen Rogue laugh about how broken Zerg is.

maybe it would have worked if steady targeting wasn't canceled by taking damage. The ghosts usually just DIE outright to actual attacks hitting them during steady targeting, but blizzard inexplicably made it so fungal just straight up silences them for its duration. What does a ghost do during fungal? Can't cloak, can't snipe, not going to be able to nuke, and the EMP won't prevent the spell they already cast if those snipes had taken out the brood lords while the ghosts died, the game would have gone on, both armies dead
goomshill I think that the idea is that fungal stops those abilities as a counter to the ghosts like high templar have feedback and ghosts have emp. However, i think it is too strong to allow ghosts to fulfill their role of providing a counter to the late game tech of zerg and protoss
@@goomshill Fungal is currently a death sentence for just about anything Terran has that gets caught by it. I don't think making it a projectile did much to nullify its power.
I agree zerg is better race at the moment especially infestor got to be toned down but I can't understand that people complain every single match about infestor even though the matches wining factor not because of infestor. This first to 3 series, 3-0, only second match we see infestor with Reynor on upper hand entire of the game. Even at that time, Ultra came out but not infestor, Reynor still will win in second match. I would say Raynor play well and Heromarine is a bit sloppy in this series.
@cis this yup, 1 range shorter but it come as default, it might not affect much of the people in ladder but it definitely affect highest level of play (pro tournament players). The infestor terran been redesign to be more energy so it no longer a spamming festival yet it is still the zerg best anti air. I don't know why blizzard don't buff corrupter (is decent but easily be counter, can't hit ground...) a bit and nerf infestor terran anti air ability. The infestor remain as ALL ROUNDED good units. However, bloodlord nerfed in range, we shall see the ultimate bloodlord + infestor combo still superior than other race in the next coming path or not.
Losing 34 drones to 2 Liberators, attacking the BC with full health while a BC in the red shots your corrupters to death right beside it. Those are mistakes thst seperate good players from great players. Compared with Serral, Reynor is at least one level behind

HeroMarine, I LOVE the ghosts late game. But you don't seem to know how to break positions. You need to make just a few disposable tanks. Yes, I know there are brood lords out there, but that's the point! The tanks are brood lord bait. You set up a pair of tanks to start shelling the spores. Zerg either has to move them back or bring up some brood lords to deal with them, and that's when you snipe them with your ghosts. If they try to use their ling / bane to come get the tanks, you just pounce on them with your bio. The idea is to abuse range to draw zerg into bad engagements. Too often, HeroMarine would sacrifice army for very little gain, like not killing the hatch at the 6 o'clock position. Stop fighting on creep. Start fortifying positions with tanks and force the zerg to come out of creep to come get them. Another option is to use battlecruisers on a huge map like that. Fly them into raids and then jump them when the corruptors arrive. Stop playing into the zerg's mobility and always fortify the heck out of your new bases. Oh, and by the way, the "Let's see how low I can get this BC's health before running away" is not a mini-game that will help you win the match. Losing the first BC in the 3rd game was really, really, dumb, especially since it could have just gone home for repairs.

I liked the old ZvT style matches better. With endless bio fighting ling, bane, muta. So micro intensive and fun to watch!

They don't tank banes really at all. I'd guess because of mobility and mineral cost - lose too many Marines, no kiting or anti-air

The infestor terran been redesign to be more energy so it no longer a spamming festival yet it is still the zerg best anti air. I don't know why blizzard don't buff corrupter (is decent but easily be counter, can't hit ground...) a bit and nerf infestor terran anti air ability. The infestor remain as ALL ROUNDED good units. However, bloodlord nerfed in range, we shall see the ultimate bloodlord + infestor combo still superior than other race in the next coming path or not.
and dont forget the game when infestors have been used was the longest one, if infestor really op should the game end more faster

HeroMarine, I LOVE the ghosts late game. But you don't seem to know how to break positions. You need to make just a few disposable tanks. Yes, I know there are brood lords out there, but that's the point! The tanks are brood lord bait. You set up a pair of tanks to start shelling the spores. Zerg either has to move them back or bring up some brood lords to deal with them, and that's when you snipe them with your ghosts. If they try to use their ling / bane to come get the tanks, you just pounce on them with your bio. The idea is to abuse range to draw zerg into bad engagements.
Too often, HeroMarine would sacrifice army for very little gain, like not killing the hatch at the 6 o'clock position. Stop fighting on creep. Start fortifying positions with tanks and force the zerg to come out of creep to come get them.
Another option is to use battlecruisers on a huge map like that. Fly them into raids and then jump them when the corruptors arrive. Stop playing into the zerg's mobility and always fortify the heck out of your new bases.
Oh, and by the way, the "Let's see how low I can get this BC's health before running away" is not a mini-game that will help you win the match. Losing the first BC in the 3rd game was really, really, dumb, especially since it could have just gone home for repairs.
