WOW! So great to see those roughnecks out to good use! I've had the same ones in use in my storage areas (garages to storage room) for over 25 years and they have held up beautifully. A few scrapes here than there but they are still in excellent condition! I love them because the lid really does seal well (especially when stacked) and this has kept the contents from moulding and deteriorating in less than ideal conditions.
I was able to get some really good ideas from this video for my garage storage. I live in FL so I did a lot of the purging of items in January and organized most shelves but now I think I want those heavy duty shelves you have. It's always a work in progress with me but I'll be finished, for this year, once I get the shelves. Thanks for all of your organizational ideas.
Thank you so much for posting even if you didn't have all the footage you wanted to include. My garage is a disaster and this gives me an idea of what I want it to look like. Better get started because once summer hits in Texas the garage becomes an inferno.
Always useful for poor weather I think is the internal access from the garage to the house, when I lived in MN we definitely had that! But make sure you have an adequate deadbolt on this door and maybe even a crimsafe screen door too as it's the perfect undercover entry point to the house for thieves as they can work undisturbed and screened by the garage. I'm enjoying your purging series very much Jen, thanks for sharing!
My mom, neighbour and myself just cleaned out my garage this past week. I have never seen it this clean in a long time, we got rid of so much stuff. There was boxes and junk on the floor that we could not walk into without tripping over something, now all the stuff has a spot on a self or wall. All the junk and boxes are gone, its so clean now, we could actually walk into it now!!!!!
This came at a perfect time!! My hubby and I were on vacation this past week and we made a HUGE to do list. The garage was a BIG project for us. I'm usually the organizational fanatic and my husband: not so much....anyhoo, he attempts the garage every spring, but it's just not organized the way it really needs to be. Soooo, this year, we did it together and I must say; it looks FABULOUS!! Not quite a gorg as yours Jen, but this is just perfect for us. Thanks so much for the inspiration!! Keep these great videos coming. Hope Don is recovering quickly.....
That is the nicest garage that I have ever seen! We have a three-bay detached garage that houses two antique cars and a tractor. My husband is a mechanic, so there are tools everywhere! You can't even walk through it. I don't dare touch anything in there, but I have been nagging him to clean and organize it.
So looking forward to your office purge! I am moving home from college at the end of the month, so I love watching your videos for some motivation on cleaning out and organizing all my stuff :) Love your videos, you are a very inspiring person to watch and I find your videos relaxing too! Hope you and your pack are keeping well :)
Wonderful video Jen, didn't even miss the video you say was deleted, this was great as everyone of your videos are!! So glad Don is doing well. Happy week ahead!
Great job!! I have really enjoyed all of your projects and they have motivated me to share mine. I am launching my series in the morning on my channel! Great job and always greta ideas! Erica
Great. Thanks for still posting. VIDEO IDEA: if you haven't done already could you run us through installing shelving, ie talk us through it showing what you need, how to measure, tips, etc. you certainly are competent at it!!!!!!
Great work :) Spring cleaning/cleaning in general can be a good way to get creative juices flowing . I usually end up learning new or easier ways to store and categorize.
Jen THANK YOU for sharing this. Your garage is actually really similar to my garage and this gave me so many ideas on how to add storage space to our garage. Thank you!
I love watching, sorry your before video was lost. I had cabinets put in our garage years ago. It would take me a couple of days to clean everything. I need to clean it in late October because it's already getting hot here.
Rubbermaid has a similar system that we installed in our son's room to hang his guitars. He has nine and it is great to have them up off the floor, they look nice and the guitar cases can be stored in the basement.
Thank you for sharing :D We are currently building a house and wasn't sure what to do with garage organisation, so this gave me some great ideas :) Thank you!
I had no choice! I had to take everything out of our garage since we had so much snow here in New England the weight of it damaged a side wall. In the end it was a good thing though, I purged so much!! I need to get some shelving and some of those bins. Thanks for sharing Jen, I love your videos!
Jen, you are awesome! i love watching ur videos! always fun and very informative.one of my fav ppl to watch :) .. thx for all ur hard work God bless :D
Great video as always. I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again cause I'd love to see a video on your iPhone, what apps you use, how you organize them etc :)
Great video :) I was bummed when I heard that some footage had been deleted, but we all make silly mistakes sometimes! It's still great to see the difference in organization from a couple (?) years ago. Also: hope Don is doing well!
Hello, Jen! Will you be doing a video on gardening? Or actually are you planting anything this season? I may just grow tomatoes in containers but I bet that you are good at organizing a garden too! Thanks:)
Rep Jesus I haven't been planting the last few years since we're been traveling so much and spending a month in Utah during the summer. I do try to keep up with my indoor plant care year round though.
Inspiring! Your energy is awesome too...I am not even sure where to start with the purge of storage unit. It is my garage since I have no garage...Also, my attic is full of boxes...I think I will be starting on the storage first because I would really like to get rid of it...stuff and the storage. I am trying not to be extreme: not too ruthless and yet not too sentimental. I love the systems you have in place! I would really love to know the kinds of huge bins you have up on the top shelves and some more of your categories...it would help, believe me...do you climb a ladder to do all that! Wow! Prayers continue for Don. big hugs!
Hey Jen! Thanks for another inspiring video! So I have a question for you, or maybe you can even do a video about it? I'm at a loss for storing my bed comforters (king size). I have several luxury comforters that are quite fluffy (downs) and I cannot figure out how to properly store them (I've bought all the vacuum bags & nothing seems to work). At this point I just want to donate the comforters (which I wouldn't), but that's how much of a loss I'm at...do you have any ideas?? Thanks as always!!
jacquline theis I keep mine in a big storage trunk at the foot of our bed. I do send our duvet covers and quilts out to the dry cleaners and just store them in the plastic wrap they send them back in.
Great video! One question....How do you store your large garbage can in the garage without it smelling? I'm struggling with the location of ours, and would love to hide it in the garage, but it smells after a few days even with the bags knotted closed.
bgkgm We don't usually have an issue with this as we don't throw out a lot of things that would smell, like food. It can become a bit more of a problem when it's really hot out and then I just pop the can outside the garage.
Are you sure the before footage is gone forever? Don't you have that Drobo Hard Drive? You said in a previous video that the information gets backed up on multiple parts of the hard drive. Maybe you should look again :)
Hey Jen...GR8 Job! I hope to have my garage organized one day! HaHa... I am not there yet, but I am also Decluttering my entire home using the KonMari Method and I just got done with ALL of the Clothing...Boy did I have A LOT! I know you are a busy Bee, but if you got a chance to check it out, I would love it :} As always, Thank You for sharing all that you do and have a fantastic day...xoxo Tj
Carrie A We went through two in quick succession our first winter in the house and we quickly killed both. That's when we knew we weren't meant to have a snow blower ;)
Kathleen Howard You could put up some shelves to store things that you don't need to use often or you could then put some storage bins on those shelves maybe :) Or perhaps some overhead racks for fishing rods etc?
I hope my garage is as clean and organized as this when I grow up and have my own house!
OMG! I wish our garage was that neat and tidy! Feel better wishes for Don.

I HATE when I delete content accidently!! Awesome after- your garage is so organized and clean. LOVE! Hugs to the Donald and pup! (And to you too!)

Loving this series Jen!
Awesome job Jen! Thanks for sharing!!
I think You did a great job. I do not have a garage on my Home. This is something that I wish i had.
I think the garage looks wonderful. You did a great job. You can actually park both cars in there. The rolling carts are great !

Suzy Keleher I believe those are 45 gallon Sterilite latch totes bit.ly/1c12SGF
I wish my garage was as clean as yours :D
I have eagerly been waiting for this vdo. Thank you.
Loved it Jen!!
Bummer about the footage. Hope your hubby is doing well. Your garage looks great.
Hi, Jen! Will you film your garden and about garden organization?
Looks really good!
Btw I hate all the grime from the winter too, I live in Michigan

The way the light hit your hair, I initially thought you dyed your hair!
doinithealthystyle I did notice it looked a bit green when I was editing, LOL!
I know it is off topic, but could you please tell me the make and model of the bicycle... I have really been looking for something like that.
Thank you for sharing
Are you sure the before footage is gone forever? Don't you have that Drobo Hard Drive? You said in a previous video that the information gets backed up on multiple parts of the hard drive. Maybe you should look again :)
h0llyw00dgirl It never made it onto a computer. I taped right over it on my camera sadly.
Jennifer Ross Aw ok :(
I hope Don is doing well.

Do you ever worry about termites with keeping your firewood inside?
Jakie Hogan We've never had an issue. I keep a close eye on it, just in case.
No snow blower in Chicago?? That stupid thing takes up so much room in our garage. I'm constantly moving it trying to find a home for it
Carrie A We went through two in quick succession our first winter in the house and we quickly killed both. That's when we knew we weren't meant to have a snow blower ;)
I feel like it is easier to organize a very large garage. I am challenged with 8 foot tall ceiling single car garage
Kathleen Howard You could put up some shelves to store things that you don't need to use often or you could then put some storage bins on those shelves maybe :) Or perhaps some overhead racks for fishing rods etc?
You should just buy a power washer, especially since you would use it often, instead of hiring someone to do it. Power washing is fun!
You would have a panic attack if you saw my garage
Are those APEX roller blades?
Garages get messy because guys use them. Need I say more?
I hope Don is doing well.
ladidi5222 He's doing great Thanks for asking :)
