Saludos desde España, es extraordinario el ritmo y el sonido de estos instrumentos, me encanta. Es extraordinario escuchar instrumentos tocar en plena calle y sin sintetizar.

Incredible performance from all. But I am worried for the pedal extremities of Jay Rattman as he suspends his mighty bass saxophone from one 'bootlace', risking more damage to his toes than his horn! There was a time when people wondered how Charlie Parker could play an alto sax with such speed and dexterity, but Jay shows use here how he can do that on a bass sax at will, one that looks as if it could have belonged to Adrian Rollini or at least his age! Beautiful sound and picture quality too, Michael. How lucky we are.

Once again the composer and lyricist are left out. Disgusting!!!. "I Want to Be Happy" is a song with music by Vincent Youmans and lyrics by Irving Caesar written for the 1925 musical No, No, Nanette. The 20's 30's and 40's produced the Great American songbook. Literally thousands of songs, written by master craftsmen and woman have stood the test of time.. Today these composers, songwriters, and lyricists names have passed into obscurity, yet their songs remain being sung today. These songs didnt just appear overnight, they were composed by mainly Jews who came across the Atlantic in books in the 1800's to start a new life in New England ( New York).

Sir, I appreciate the addition of the relevant information. But if you refer to my presentation as "Disgusting!" I will print no more comments of yours. I think your critical reaction is at best ungracious. If you knew the work that goes into this video and others, which you are watching for free, perhaps you would moderate your tone.

@@swingyoucats , I merely introduced the fact that the composer and lyricist were left out of your posting. All I did was added them.....I apologize for using the word disgusting. Please next time you put up a video with a band playing an American standard, please also include in your write up who wrote it. Thanks very much...
