In 1945 acquired by Vickers Armstrong-Supermarine and Spitfire production. 121 Spitfires were produced at South Marston followed by other aircraft to 1961 and aircraft components to c. 1985. The south factory covered the Nissin and part of adjacent units; a large open yard across from Berkeley House; on the north a similar factory straddling now Woodside Road and adjacent units. Appears the only World War 2 era building remaining is Berkeley House across the street diagonally and used as the Vickers offices and manufacturing. Berkeley House now let as flex offices and small businesses. 1985 the factory site and airfield were sold to Honda Manufacturing. Likely most of the industrial estate redeveloped after Vickers ceased manufacturing and sold to Honda (lack of information/maps/photos online). A letting brochure notes the former battery sales business immediately across the street was constructed 2000, refurbished and available late 2023. Developer Panattoni purchased the Honda property in 2022 and planning a major redevelopment in the coming years.

On google maps can still see to the west the railway spur imprint and ended at now the Strandfoam factory. Letting agent listings noted the age of Berkeley House.
