    I really feel Martin was very lucky following his surgery. Yes he has deficits but they could of been much worse. He can still walk, he talks coherently. Laura and Martin have every reason to praise the Lord.

    Touching story hitting close to my family. My Mom passed away the summer going into sixth grade. She had a brain tumor as well

    Something they are gracious not to mention is that some "friends" probably transitioned out of their lives due to the changed circumstances.

    Someone once told me that handing Kleenex to someone crying conveys “stop crying” and it is to fix our discomfort with their pain. That’s how I understood Jesus-fix comments during my husband’s transplant journey. Not malicious. Just not helpful. And yes Laura - being handed a warm latte expresses a lotta love 🥰
