Right now you can buy a very expensive ticket to hang out in the lobby, but I'm not sure when the actual exhibits open! But fingers crossed it'll be open when you visit! 🤞🤞
Shirley Eaton was the actress that played the Bond girl who was painted in gold in "Goldfinger". Her character died from "skin suffocation" in the movie but she didn't die in real life. Great video btw! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! That's good to hear! I heard it from a random pub man in the 90s, before I had internet, and I never bothered to find out the answer, well, until now! 😆 I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😊 After a swift flight to Luxor, I'll be uploading a few videos in Luxor and the Valley of the Kings very soon!
I believe a lot of the stuff is suppose to move over to the new museum GEM, news says it cost 1 Billion dollars to build. I’d like to check it when they remake king tuts tomb. Safe travels
Yes! 💯 Right now its technically open, but its VERY expensive just to hang out in the lobby (everything else is closed off or empty), so tickets are a total rip off (right now)! But when it eventually opens, it should be amazing... Hopefully! It keeps getting pushed back and back and with their soft-opening, its a bit confusing when the entire exhibit really opens! We visited the Tomb in Luxor, but it was a bit of a bust because it had minimal decorating (I guess because he died young) and the body is in Cairo, so I bet the experience will be a lot better at the new museum!
this museum is fking great, but whe I was there, I had a great guide (so: take a guide). But, as u can see: There is literary no science communication to work with thre. Nevertheless, a sight to see. Very much looking forward to the opening of the great egyptian museum, too.
Agreed 100%! There is nowhere else on the world that you can see such an amazing collection on Egyptology. I just wish there were a few more signs to tell me what I was looking at. I understand that it's probably a scheme to take commission from semi-required guides, but for such a steep entry fee, it would have been nice. Nevertheless, we had a great time!
What did you think of the museum? 👀
Interesting place👍🏻
By the time we get there, I'm confident it will be the new museum we'll be visiting... thankfully!

Peru and now Egypt, dude’s feeding both his body and mind as good as he can get on earth.
Kudos
Some call it a mid-life crisis, others call it a thirst for adventure! Thank you for choosing the latter! 😆💯
