yes where he was able to put tape he wouldn't use a knife. Did he promise that you wouldn't see a knife in the video, or did he say that the job will be done with the help of using knifeless tape. He did use tape right buddy ? :) Maybe find a title to judge that says "using knifeless tape, no additional tools required"
Guys don’t do this. It looks cool but if you come off and that vinyl wrap grips the surface you’re sliding on, it’ll break your damn neck. Bike helmets are made to slide for that reason. That scalpel blade can’t help either.
Vinyl has a similar friction coefficient to teflon, and more than that it would tear immediately upon impact with the pavement at any energy level and the helmet would take the remaining 99.95% of the energy from the impact.
He made a difficult job look easy.

That would depend, assuming it’s no different then normal car vinyl It should last a few years.

Guys the tape before he applied the vinyl did the knifeless cuts. He used a knife to clean up where the tape couldn’t be placed.
he never promised that you wouldn't need a knife to complete the job, he did use a knifeless tape during the process so good title, great video. :)

more and more helmets in Aus are coming with ECE rating that doesnt have a sticker, it uses a tag thats attached to the helmet strap.
